I should have fleshed out my post a bit more to be honest, but I agree with what you said earlier. All the top leagues in Europe are foregone conclusions next year IMO, except England and I honestly think it plays the more exciting brand of football. It's got the perfect mix of technique and brawn. Personally cannot wait for the new season.

I really dislike this argument to be honest. It seems opposing fans keep saying the same thing. We pissed the league despite our squad not being anything special, but in reality we have a very good squad. In Europe the referee done us over and we were in complete control against Real Madrid who I'm sure many of you consider to be the third or fourth best side on the planet.

Gutted because he's exactly what we need and I can't see anyone else out there that is available to us, especially for that sort of money. Oh well. Hopefully Kroos doesn't get gametime and fucks off to us next year. ( I know. No chance. )

Should the second bet win I'll probably stake another $50 or so on the second round in the darts. Also had $70 on Djokovic before the tournament started due to winnings from Nadal at the French Open. Stands to be a really good weekend!

To be fair to him, it must have been head wrecking being a striker, then an attacking midfielder, then a defensive midfielder, then a striker again. I never had a bad word to say about him when he was with us. A player who always gave 100% and never complained being played out of position. His best moment was undoubtedly his goal against Roma. He hasn't score in nearly two years mainly because of that horrific injury and scored a cracker against them when we beat them 7-1.

Even Gosling has a goal for you. I honestly had no idea Smith didn't score. Judging by his appearances if a question came up in trivia how many he'd scored for NUFC I'd have guessed about 15.
