But it feels like it's only people on the outside who feel like this is unacceptable? I feel like Manchester United fans are fairly accepting of lower finishes, provided that we can see progress and ambition. Amorim is charming aye and fans love that, but he's also started to root out issues that have been in the squad for years. That's buying him time as well, because he's doing what we've been crying out for this past two or three years. Obviously if he continues on with a 30% win ratio, it won't matter what he does, but in my eyes he's still the man.

Because it's Manchester United. Worst season in our modern history last season, and we were still competing in a European final. Poor season the year before that, and we won the FA Cup. These players will believe they can be the ones who turn it around in the league as well, and the ones who eventually do will be treated like Gods.

Not even sure to be honest. Top 8 is the minimum though. There's a ton of dead money sitting there at the minute but there will be movement. Garnacho and Hojlund look certain to leave for around £70m combined and £7m a year in wages. Wages for Sancho, Antony and Malacia is reported to be around £23m a year. Antony will definitely go, but probably a loan with obligation. Malacia will probably just get released. I can see Sancho digging in and getting to the end of his contract, as he doesn't give a shit about playing. He's already rejected moves to Roma and Juve, and he's not getting bigger clubs than that.

Honestly he's been like that plenty of times before. I do agree with him as well to be honest and I still want him backed. He has to get top 8 though this season. City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Newcastle, Villa and then us. The squad is too good to finish below any of the others.

I've some life in me yet. Failure to win at the weekend and I'll be worried to be honest. I'm interested to see how the atmosphere at the ground is after last night.

Ronaldo. But it was all a dream at the time.
-
Solskjaer has been the best of the lot as well. It only went downhill for him when he was handed a player he didn't want.

Is this season over already?

Rivalries aren't built over two seasons though mate. We haven't been your rival for a long time. You're simply a better team than us at this moment in time, but it's not a very exclusive club.
-
Not that you were ever our rival, but you'd think Newcastle are sitting top of the league at the minute and not right down there on the same points as us.

Find a lot of this baffling to be honest but it gives you an insight into how other fans are thinking. Our starting back three is concrete in Yoro, De Ligt and Shaw, and Yoro and De Ligt are top class. Zero complaints from any of our fans about either of them. Shaw has played well too but not to the level of the other two. None of them have really put a foot wrong in the league. I've seen criticism for Dorgu on here as well and don't really understand it to be honest. He's been very good this season and is actually performing as a wing back should. He was awful last season though and maybe people are just continuing on from that, unfairly. Arsenal never had a sniff. Our keeper threw the ball into the net for them. Fulham's goal was from Bruno not tracking the man in midfield. Bruno as a #8 beside Casemiro is going to be a big problem. Nobody wants to talk about it but it was Bruno who gave away the corner against Arsenal as well. Dalot is a fucking donkey though. That's the only thing I agree with. A pure and utter donkey.

That doesn't bother us, because he's always been like that even at Sporting when he was on top of the world. He was pacing up and down the touchline looking angsty when he was smashing City in the Champions League.

Bit harsh to say he hasn't addressed the glaring holes in the squad. We're desperate for a keeper and a midfielder, but we were more desperate for goals. There has been huge improvements in the play, but the results aren't there yet. Have a look at this forum after we played Arsenal and after the first half hour against Fulham. "Man United will be good again unfortunately." "That's what happens when you spend £200m on a new front line, it'll work eventually" "Man United look far better. They'll be miles better this season" Now one game later we're the worst in the land again and it's never getting better. Football fans are fickle. You'd think we're the only side in the Premier League sitting on one point.
-
I would, but I know plenty of our fans are losing patience. Personally I don't understand why you would bring a new manager in midway through a season, back him in the summer and then sack him after three games? We've conceded 4 goals, and 3 of them have been goalkeeping errors. We were by far the better side against Arsenal, and we should have had Fulham blown away in the opening 30 minutes. Denied a clear pen against Arsenal, and missed a pen against Fulham. We just need a bloody goal to settle things down. There was a huge overreaction to the Fulham game, as if they're not a decent side. You'd also think we lost 3-0 instead of getting a decent draw. They took 6 points off Newcastle last season and 4 off Spurs. They're no mugs. All that being said, results do have to come. If we don't win convincingly against Burnley, the pressure will be enormous on him I think. Say it's a draw on Saturday then we come back after the international break and lose to Chelsea and City, then I think it'll turn sour again.

What would you like to know Bobby? Don't expect anything but defiance.
-
Beat Burnley and we are so back.
-
No. I've actually been to Old Trafford, but never been to Nottingham.
-
It's not as bad as your keeper not looking.
-
@Rich it's the rains fault.
-
What's the issue? Give some lads a run out in the first half and win 4-2. Everyone gets their money's worth. Win win.
-
Wouldn't think so. We'll have a sell on clause for sure, and it's not a small fee to begin with.
-
He is a really good player like. no doubt about that. Just selfish, but still a kid. Happy enough he's going to Chelsea as I don't think they'll develop him properly.
-
We could have got a lot more off them in January but he was important then and was playing nearly every game. Still, £39.6m profit on him and it'll be great for PSR.
