  1. Went for a bit of a silly one today. Soton/Fulham - Draw Barca/Madrid - Draw Milan derby - Draw Liverpool DNB Spurs. 65-1
  2. I reckon we'll go with a 4-2-3-1 formation. Lindegaard Rafael Ferdinand Evans Evra Carrick Cleverley Nani Rooney Kagawa RVP That's the way I think we'll line up. I can see Fergie going with Cleverley over Scholes for a bit more energy in midfield because NUFC will try and flood the midfield as it's where we're undoubtedly weakest. Nani/Rooney/Kagawa will roam about in front of the defence with RVP up top. Valencia being out is a bit of a blow but I'm hoping Nani has one of his good days.
  3. Thread title I'm expecting a high scoring game to be honest. Our defence is worrying so I'm expecting to concede. I do think our attacking power will be too much for you though. I'll go 2-3. Ba with both your goals and Rooney and Van Persie sharing ours.
  4. Some of those odds seem very short. Would have thought you would get more for the anytime goalscorer accy, and likewise with the Cazorla/Arsenal combo. Think Arsenal and Chelsea will be a cracking game. Can see a 3-3 or something.
  5. Arsenal/Chelsea draw Stoke/Swansea draw Newcastle Bristol City/Leeds BTS $10 @ 46-1
  6. aye they'll be out shopping and everything, relaxing after tonights game i'd imagine Australia. Time difference. 5am is hard to call tonight.
  7. What a bet like. Our defence will more than likely be all over the place tomorrow. Glad Ba isn't expected to play.
  8. Was it you that bet on the 3-0?
  9. I'd say he's pretty close. I'd expect Michael Keane to play at the back but with Evans rather than Vermijl. I'd have expected Robbie Brady to start but he's been left out of the squad. Angelo Henriquez will almost certainly feature. I think Valencia will get a rest and Nani will move to the right, with Welbeck out left. All guesses mind.
  10. McDonalds pays $20 an hour here ffs. That's around £14. Crazy money to be made in Australia.
  11. He's having a fantastic game. Delighted for him getting the goal. Evra is in trouble if Buttner keeps this level up.
  12. Scholes with two successful sliding tackles in a row. Bizarre.
  13. Ginger magician on his 700th appearance.
  14. Alt + F4 Had about 10 tabs open for coursework when I got caught with that one.
  15. Should have taken it ahead of Hernandez. Would keep up the record of scoring in every Premier League season as well. Wasn't a pen anyway though so justice done. Hand Wellbeck a 3 match ban and it might be justice done.. There'd be barely any players left then, you know, since almost all of them dive. I hate diving as well but it's part of the game now. Then so be it for fucks sake. It's not part of the game. Get the fuck out of here with shit like that. Are you actually serious like? If a player sees an opportunity to go down and win a pen they're going always going to do it. Man United players do it. Newcastle players do it. Even people in an amateur league at home do it. It's not going to go away. You're incredibly naive if you think it is. I understand it when you actually get a knock and over-emphasis the contact, Welbeck was miles away from being touched. There's no place for it. Mate I fucking hate diving. I'm not sticking up for Welbeck in any way and I know we have some serial divers in our team, i.e. Nani and Young, but I'm just saying everyone does it and I don't think it's going to stop. I don't claim that NUFC don't do it, though I don't feel it's particularly prevelant, but I'm not going to just excuse it and say that it's "part of the game". It is not part of the game, and if the game was officiated competently, it wouldn't be an issue. I completely agree. My opinion is that it's never going to be officiated in a way that will banish diving. I'm obviously in the minority judging by the reaction but that's what I honestly think.

Might seem that way if you only ever watch Manchester United.. Steven Taylor is guilty of one of the most hilarious dives in Premier League history. It wasn't to win a penalty but it was to cheat the referee into thinking the ball didn't hit his arm. Everybody does it. Don't be silly now.

  21. Against that zany Wigan formation. Bold prediction, he will be subbed at halftime. If he plays well he'll be staying in the team. Evra has been playing shit for quite a while.
  22. Total disrespect to Wigan, hope they sneak this. I'd be fuming if I were a Man U fan. Kagawa and RvP both picked up knocks on international duty so they aren't fully fit. It's nothing to do with disrespect.
