Was initially. I think we've given him permanently and €9m for Rojo now.

Fairly sure 55 will be well above the average. It's a good start.
-
Would take him like.

Whoever it was who asked about Blackett, he'll be a centre back, but he only played because Evans was injured. He'll back for the next game though I reckon.

It makes me nauseous thinking about it.

A narrow defeat when we've several key players out while trying to implement a new system and a lot of people are changing their tune already. There'll be at least one centre back signed and three/four first team players to come back into this side. I didn't find the defeat all that surprising when I seen the lineup.

Jones is a liability at centre back. He's the one I'm worried about the most.

Really hard to predict who will play for them and Man Utd currently. Our team is nailed on, full back positions aside. It's possible Young could start over Shaw in the first game, and I'm not sure who will start as right wing back either. Probably Valencia though. Yeah I've got Shaw in my team at the moment but I'm not sure whether to maybe stick him on the bench for the first game and play a three in defence for the first week. Has Shaw looked good in preseason? More advanced position under Van Gaal I take it? He's been alright. Expect him to be a lot better in the league. More advanced position though aye. If pre-season is anything to go by, Herrera should be in all your teams, but then again so should Young.

I'm sure most of you have seen it already, but Rooney is our new captain. Sexy legend Darren Fletcher is vice captain.

About to post in our thread now if you want a nosy?

Robbie Keane is now the World's leading international goalscorer. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_top_international_association_football_goal_scorers_by_country

Kompany and Mangala is a ridiculous centre back pairing like.
-
Wasn't he overweight though? I thought he came back from preseason a stone over or something.

Watched a video on Facebook that Decky shared there. Didn't realise almost all his goals for you were absolute screamers. Where did it all go wrong?

Nah I prefer Hibs. I'm a hipster Irishman I might be mistaken but Hibs were the first team in Scotland with Irish roots. Celtic actually nabbed a load of their players in the early 1900's. I just hate Scottish football. The Celtic vs. Rangers rivalry in Ireland is just ridiculous.

Glory hunters the lot of them.

We've looked brilliant in pre-season. We dispatched Madrid pretty handily as well. It's easy to get carried away with glorified friendly results though. I'm happy with our wing backs. Rafael/Valencia/Young on the right and Shaw/James/Young on the left is good enough IMO. I'd have actually been pretty happy with signing Vermaelen, but not for fifteen million.
