Fuck that, I dont fancy watching hollywood balls from Tiote all game. We need some creative outlet. I'd play Ben Arfa central. Tiote-Vurnon Gabby - HBA - Sammy It's not ideal but if we want some attacking force. It's simple with Obertan. Never ever play him. If I were a Newcastle fan I'd play Ferguson at left back and move Santon to the right wing rather than play Obertan.

wat Must be trolling or has a serious misunderstanding.

You fixed that quick.

If he did add something new and it failed horribly, would you say he should have stuck with what he done last season?
-
He did have a very good first season, and we have needed a midfield enforcer for quite a while. Whatever happened Gosling? Is he total shit now or what?
-
I don't rate Tiote anywhere near as much as I used to. He had a cracking first season but he's such a liability now from what I've seen. I'd be watching every NUFC game with fear of him getting sent off. It's very understandable why people didn't want Pardew as boss too, especially with the way Hughton was with the fans and the way he was dismissed, but Pardew is still the manager. He takes the credit for fifth place because he picked the team and made them play the way they did. Isn't he the one who bought all the players that some people refuse to criticise as well?
-
I'm completely shocked at it. Manager leads club to an amazing fifth placed finish. Not even a third of the way into the new season and people calling for his head due to a disagreement in tactics. That's the sort of nonsense you'd expect from Chelsea fans, not Newcastle ones.

We need to cross breed them. It's the only answer. Cabaye's a much better footballer but strikes me as mentally soft and gets in the box less than the Pope. Nolan will probably hit double figures this year, Cabaye will likely get four or five. There's far too much emphasis being put on goals here. Cabaye is so much better than Nolan ffs. Nolan will probably score ten or so, Cabaye four or five, Paul Scholes maybe two or three.

Two Fulham players and no Man Utd players.

I went for: Vorm Sagna Kompany Agger Santon Sidwell Adam Mata Fellaini Bale Rooney Lack of an out and out striker might be a problem but generally I think this would be a hard team to beat. Solid keeper. Fast, strong defenders. Central midfielders are a little weak but Adams dead ball abillity would cause a lot of problems with Fellaini on the end of them. Mata cutting in from the right, Bale crossing in from the left. Would be a little tempted to swap Rooney for Van Persie but I'd have Rooney in my team all the time to be honest. Hard to leave out Ben Arfa too.

It's his fifth in six and it was unbelievable.

Heskey has just scored. His 6th in 5 starts. Unbekiacke finish. He like flicked his boot and aimed it at the keeper so it would hit off his leg and deflect into the net. My word. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_178ir-7mmkA/TQqn_O8_w5I/AAAAAAAAAA0/NaSJMDeZKjE/s1600/Ray+Wilkins.jpg

Probably been mentioned but happy for Osman getting an England call up. I think he's a very under-rated player. He's of such importance to Everton IMO.

I was just about to ask. Xisco is still on your books? I remember him signing for like £6million and he was only like 6th choice striker. Someone (probably Decky) told me he had some clause in his contract that if he played another game and reached the milestone you'd have to pay another million for him or something and that's why he didn't play. Is he any good like? Hard to judge him in England if he barely played.

The bandwagoners are the only reason I wish they lost. Celtic fans get a lot of praise for their support, mainly due to the atmosphere they create at Parkhead, which is electric to be fair. My God though, they are insufferable at times like this. It's the group stages ffs. They'll probably get mauled by Benfica and lose to Spartak. I do want them through though at the end of the day, it's a chance for an easier route to the quarters

If it is then fuck my life.

Australian website. 1.97-1. Bayern were 2.5 at - 2 as well which I thought was good odds saying its in Germany and they need the win. We are 2.25 as well for an outright win.

Is there a reason Sunderland isn't spelt with a capital S in the thread title?

Cafu didn't have anywhere near the defensive game Zanetti did/does. Cafu was better going forward though. Identical engines. IMO of course.

Anyone else think Chelseas odds are brilliant? 2-1 at home in a must win game?
