Apologies yeah meant SF. Does he miss our game or just the one?
-
Who did they just say will miss the final? McGuire I see. Does that mean he misses our game also or just the one game?
-
Yeah but at least shouting and moaning is creating an atmosphere. Don’t see many oldies on their phones or munching their meal deals ?
-
Think Brighton might have something to say about that.

FA Cup doesn’t help itself… 1 game left and making the draw for the semifinals now ffs ??♂️

Cmon @Adam… put your phone down. The grownups have asked you a question? ?

You saying Im wrong with my observations? ?

It’s related to modern society also and how the frail the younger generation struggle to deal with setbacks and start feeling sorry for themselves along with the need for their attention to be held constantly. It’s the same at gigs now. If the hits aren’t being played people start get drawn back to their phones or start chatting amongst themselves.

Saw him once and looked promising but have seen him since and he’s looked awful. Against Arsenal he was so weak for goal 2&3 and was lucky to have his OG chalked off. Was caught out time and time again.

Harder game to predict with the longer break. If it wasn’t for that I’d have a funny feeling that we’d beat these comfortably and I’m never confident predicting a NUFC win. Just hope we don’t lose this 2 game winning momentum because of an International break. It’s a key game to win however we do it.

Wait till you all see the Southampton penalty tonight ?

Nice free kick routine by Chelsea. One to pinch and use sometime.

Whoever scores first wins. Been impressed with MGW and BJ when I’ve seen them on the pitch together and Sturridge looks more dangerous than Wood. Like most have said they are a different proposition at home. Aurier the weak link so hoping ASM gets plenty of joy if he plays. Hoping Shelvey plays as that might slow down their usual nippy midfield.

That’s a very positive reply and I agree with all you’ve said. That last election has really damaged the credibility of the NUST despite it being within the guidelines and regulations etc. Hopefully some new members can be a game changer going forward. As currently it’s looking far too cosy and in danger of becoming victim of the failings of the previous incarnation of the NUST.
-
That’s very well explained but I would hazard a guess for many that explanation has come too late and people have made their minds up. I raised at the last meeting the perception problem the NUST has and needs to improve on to avoid becoming irrelevant yet the board seemed oblivious to it except for one member who has since given notice for pastures new I take it. You’ve practically just said yourself what went on although technically fine isn’t ideal. I know the argument will come back no one else stood for election so needs must to keep the NUST ongoing but like I said at the meeting you all need to ask yourselves why that is and do something about it. What are the boards views now on its own make up?
-
I agree 100% with that. Looking from the outside in your last line is contradictory somewhat to what the NUST has done and caused the division it seems. To clarify people stepping down then stepping back up when not voted or asked to by its members comes across as self appointed.

So they did volunteer ??? That’s all I wanted to know. Reporting they were forced to is a different narrative. Agreeing to do so covers them for anything that were to happen whilst investigation took place. It shouldn’t be seen as an admission of guilt though and thrown back at them. Im sure there has been some underhand things going on and the club and NUST have to be commended in the role they played but I wish reporters would just report the facts. Will be interesting to see if the reduction in capacity remains in place. Wouldn’t be surprised if it returns come next season.
