Wasn’t a rant but more of a pre-game pep talk before playing Real Madrid. I read today he apparently suggested to TT that they should play 4-4-3 ?

We’ve been good in the big games at home under EH. Obviously hoping for a more Man Utd performance at home than Liverpool debacle mind ? What would be nice would for us to not give up a chance within the first minute of the game like we’ve done against West Ham, Brentford and Villa! ?

Sadly the fixture computer isn’t as random as people think. It’s filled with certain info via the TV companies, Police and local councils that the chances of certain fixtures becoming repetitive and following a pattern quite high.

Can’t recall our fan’s singing that yesterday mind. Was definitely sung at us. Thought we were fairly quiet the entire game songbook wise. Plenty of encouragement for the team when we had some rare attacks but let’s be honest from minute one we were up against it. Fans in the main stayed until the end and sang to the team as they came across and left the pitch. So in the whole they were supported quite well but certainly very little chanting during the game.

Was expecting a tough game. We got humped. Ref didn’t help buying any contact and fall from them but the tone was set first minute when Trippier was indecisive and they went on to hit the post. Unlike West Ham they grew from that encouragement. Tactically reminded me when we were on a great run and Wigan humped us. We were chasing shadows constantly.

Looks more comfortable slightly deeper. Our search for a natural centre forward may continue.

No criticism of him but I think Targett will get his run in the team next game.

Arrived in Birmingham last night and parked up in multi storey car park. Headed for stairwell and down to the lift and there’s 3 drug addicts doing Heroin in the corridor. Had a to pass them twice more as had forgotten my wallet in car when I reached the ground floor ?‍♂️ Walking to hotel and there’s two lads doing balloons in the street and then walk through the underpass and it stinks of green. Drug dealers hanging around almost every bar entrance we passed. What a fcuking shit hole this place is ?

I agree Monday against Leeds as an evening game will be no pushover after Leeds losing 1-5 at home Sunday but that’s depending on a bounce back. 4 of their final 6 are at Anfield and their 2 away games are Leicester and Southampton ? If they do win their next 3 games you’ll be bricking it like us all if we collect 1 point from our next 3 games ?
