Those not wanting a new stadium are they ST holders and if so would they give up 1-2 years not being able to attend if they went expansion route? ? Thats the rarely spoken beauty of a new stadium. No disruption in theory. Imagine the impact on the team with half a stadium etc whilst construction ongoing. That would effect results… signings etc etc etc.

And there lies the problem. You ain’t thinking big enough. New stadiums killing atmospheres is a myth. Badly designed ones can but not necessarily new. With a new stadium they could but not an expanded one. Would just be a bandaid. The Saudis will want the best/state of the art. Their only compromise will be the location.

We’ve 30-35K ST holders. 72K+ memberships as of October. 3-5K away fans. Corporate allocation only going one way (up). The current stadium is sonically poor and will soon not reach UEFA/FIFA standards and limited to what events it can hold. What exactly baffles you?
