Good shout that. Thought he was underrated at Southampton.

Fair enough maybe it was someone else. Totally see the frustration. Like I said after Villa I predicted fights at some point this season. The technology seems to work with very varying degrees. I feel for those who genuinely struggle to make it to ground early whereas others I don’t. It’s simple maths really… if it’s taking everyone on average 30 seconds longer for argument sake to get into the ground then x that per thousands in each queue for turnstile. The smallest of delays are always going to multiply for events of this size.

It wasn’t a problem last season because it wasn’t electronic tickets (something I’m massively against) but this year is different and everyone knows it is and everyone has been told to get there sooner yet it still seems people are going to the ground too late. It may not be just those cramming an extra pint in but if they changed their behaviour and had that so needed extra pint in the ground maybe then those who genuinely can’t land until nearer KO ain’t queuing with them and get in quicker thought to be honest even that’s a bit flaky excuse. You just make your childcare arrangements etc 45mins earlier. Live your life as though the KO is 2pm not 3pm and see how that goes. Every game has a different KO time so must be possible. By the way you never responded to my questions I asked about that coach owner with all the STs (Simon?)

Anyone know any options for a cheap ticket? Going Tuesday but didn’t fancy paying the full £20 for the privilege ?
-
Thought as much. Otherwise was quite impressed with the front of the grift ?

This really reads bad. Am I missing something and the holiday home is for cancer kids rather than just the family themselves? ?

500 drones hovering above SJP on Wednesday apparently…

Absolute nonsense. There are just other priorities but things are moving constantly in the background.

Quite a lot of buses in Newcastle are not Go Northeast. There were still buses to catch not that I see it as an excuse. Probably the membership thread best for this discussion. Agree it’s a farce in one regard and predicted on here tempers would start flaring after experiencing the Villa game but people are still turning up to late to get in. They’ve been informed to get their much earlier and still not listening for the sake of an extra pint in the pub and turning up 20mins before the game or less. If you go to a gig you turn up at least an hour or more to get in and get comfortable before a show starts. Not sure why the majority of people can’t do the same for the match. Makes more of a pre match spectacle also when people in earlier. Sadly too many people are just obsessed with drinking. Didn’t hear it myself (I’m in Gallowgate not far from safe standing) but did raise this topic on here not long ago about this chant. Thought it had died a natural deaf or had a word change at least.

Without wanting to derail this thread ? Never really agree with the short career narrative. Footballer’s basically can have a 20-25 year stint as a player alone. Then there’s other jobs in football. I don’t think I know anyone in a normal walk of live having the same job anywhere near 20-25 years.

It hasn’t changed at all. They are just reinforcing the T&Cs that have always been the same. The only difference is those who’ve risked their points in the past are less comfortable doing it so now.
-
Yes. I would imagine it falls under a public order offence.

Have a word with him. Absolutely embarrassing and needs educating.

Martinez out for 2-3 months? @Froggy

Apparently the bloke has been arrested this morning and the lad wasn’t his son for the record.
-
I get your point as much as most however that doesn’t really take into consideration younger fans. Not solo travellers but ones needing parenting still. Also the ones feeling they are now missing out because of the reinforcement of the longstanding T&Cs have had the same timespan to secure a ST & points during that time span. Its a never ending argument of two sides of the coin unfortunately.

That an Willock back in training with an outside chance of making PSG apparently.
-
Around 10:06. Maybe not ?
-
Yep. They’ve done this because people were hoarding STs and selling individual games. I would like to think most were doing this at face value (same as aways) but the minority that don’t will only increase with success and that’s probably what the club are targeting early to a degree. Ultimately though (and not just NUFC) clubs more and more want to know who’s in what ground. Wether this is to help with marketing, judging genuine demand or reducing criminal activity within the ground I’ve no definitive answer. It’s certainly more than just trying to make a system fairer but that is a big part too. West Ham away going to 5 points this afternoon giving more people a chance to go and experience an away.

Reference bus strike is it not just Go Northeast? Or is it all companies?
-
Is that you at the end celebrating? @SteV
-
Out for 3 months. No op. Just healing required.
-
You’d be breaking the T&Cs of the previous conditions doing that as has been explained before. You’ve NEVER been able to legally give your away ticket to someone else regardless the situation without notifying the club first.
-
Something else that needs to change in my view. Being able to re sell your ticket back to the club so close to KO is not much use to someone wanting to go and favours more someone buying with the wrong intentions but I’m sure others would argue this covers last minute illness. So again another new rule that can be argued both sides. https://x.com/nufctrust/status/1707314987234914340?s=61&t=kJE1AU_9T9TvzyV_ebeY8Q
