Watched all their highlights but hard to tell from them. Seemed to be a thing though as commentators mentioned it at one point in one of the games. Not that it counts for anything but like us they look to of had a very positive pre-season. Brentford seemed to cause them the most problems alongside ourselves to a lesser extent.

You haven’t. Quite a lot of beer gardens are no smoking but have designated smoking areas. The rear courtyard at the Quaysider for example is no smoking.

He didn’t look great against us when they beat us with that late Havertz winner. Murphy give him a bit of a runaround iirc and could’ve conceded one penalty if not two. Probably that game that’s sticking in people’s heads ?‍♂️

I think that’s why on this one the price is more of a sticking point than our other deals. The PIF sign off I’m guessing for a deal of £40+m will be 25yrs old and under I’m thinking. Any older and we are looking at a fee maximum less than £30m. Especially when not a clear certain starter. See how it develops but it’s clear RCB is our main target now and if the opportunity rises a LB though I think A.Murphy’s performances has give them food for thought in that position.

We usually played with a midfield 3 of Joelinton Bruno and Longstaff. Willock was always the most advanced wide left filling in for ASM. Only time I saw Willock actually in midfield was when Joelinton or Bruno was suspended it felt. Either way I’d definitely consider him to be on the list as wide forwards.

Looks like Moyes has won the battle of wills with the Sporting Director or is Alvarez a sign they’ve compromised. Guess it depends if McTominay arrives also.
