Surely they are referring to the almost pointless group stages? The KO rounds have always been good.

If we can’t do daylight then just make it if both feet are in front of defender then you are off. If only one then you are on. All this judging shoulders and toes etc is pathetic.

This should be in place. Would save a lot of time collecting those left as instructed also. -
How about a world where we can take the piss out of what people wear and they can take the piss on what other people look like also and no one takes it too serious and gets offended? Revolutionary I know ?
-
One regular weakness I’ve noticed is when a winger turns inside he seems very flat footed with his positioning.
-
? Last thing I’m going to say is if it’s a penalty then no one should’ve complained about Madison’s. If he tripped him it’s a penalty but he engineered the contact with unnatural movement. Anyway the games gone with stuff like this it seems unfortunately.
-
It wasn’t a foul ?
-
Because he doesn’t have to hurdle anything. He stopped running to time collision and dragged his leg along the grass ?
-
It will be AA game so will probably just watch in house and save the £41 for my trip to Burnley. No didn’t bother as it was moved to midweek. And a month apart remember ?
-
Nope. Think you are getting confused with the weekend you were planning on coming up and didn’t (Palace which got moved). Arsenal tickets not even on sale until 26th April.
-
We don’t make any though. Look at the service Wood has received.
-
Not a big fan of most of the Primal Scream stuff TBH. Always thought Bobby Gillespie was a bit of a knob. Preferred The Soup Dragons of bands of that ilk ?
-
What you talking about ? This is how football used to be before it got soft this last 10 year or so.
-
You’ve not stood next to Shay Given then ?
-
Just seen the offside. Very harsh. They are level the way I see it and should be given just as Villa’s should’ve against us and so on and so on…

The ball was gone and flying out of play. He didn’t go through him. He dragged his legs to force contact when he could’ve easily just carried on running as normal. If your not going to accept it wasn’t a penalty then that’s up to you and a reason why referees and VAR can never ultimately get it right because people have different ideas. If you did what Wood did playing against me in a Red v Blue game you’d be laughed at ?
-
So you could only see him when on or near the ball. Whereas I could. There were times when he was having little breathers. Explains Howes plan of slowly introducing him to the league. He’s start 3 games iirc. He was blowing against Southampton and was subbed around 65. Against Everton we started to loose midfield control around the same time and only got respite of them going down to 10. Wolves starting taking control and getting into the game similar sort of time. He’ll be fine hopefully but just a little worrying. I said the same about Cabaye from the start and hardly anyone agreed with me at the time so I’m not offended ? Don’t think it helped him playing alongside Shelvey. Even Joelinton wasn’t as all action as he had been during our unbeaten run last night.
-
You mean inevitable contact. Not a foul. Hence why it’s never a penalty. VAR giving it just shows what a waste of time it is as it was with Murphy against Chelsea.
-
Look forward to hearing their take on Screamadelica ?
-
I agree. Possibly a fraction more than Cabaye even as slightly quicker around the pitch. Were you at the game or watching on TV?
-
I never rush to judge a player. Says more about people on here quoting me taking what I’m saying as negative. It’s balanced. I know we don’t do much of it on here ? I’ve said he’s clear a talent but let’s see him against the big boys in the league. Can’t take little mini breathers like he did last night like you can in France or when playing for Brazil.
-
Early days. Clearly a talent but worrying that he looks like he’s got the same fitness coach as Cabaye. Looked done after 65-70mins. Will benefit when Wilson returns and better players in general which is obviously not rocket science. Wood has done all that’s been asked of him but clearly doesn’t fit with Bruno’s attacking side. Jury still out, should do well against CP and Leicester. Will be good to see him up against Liverpool and Man City to see how good he really is.
