After seeing the dire economic figures regarding our economy I can’t imagine the government would be too chuffed if an investor willing to put millions of pounds into a local region is turned away. I agree, they’re completely incompetent, however given the impact COVID and a potential no deal brexit they will want as much investment into the U.K. they can get from the Saudis. Yep. Money always talks. Especially when one side doesn’t seem to have as much guaranteed going forward as they did.

Attendances has dropped over the last 10 year but more so the people who attend have changed these last ten year too. Drop prices Couldn’t even get them to agree to Twenty Is Plenty for away tickets. They went with £30 which give some clubs an excuse to bump theirs up a little and those that dropped to £30 don’t get penalised for charging booking fees to that figure.

Think there is a player somewhere in there with Saivet. Controversial but Thauvin did less than Obertan for us. Even more controversial I think Obertan would look an ok player without any crowds. Seemed to suffer from stage fright which is never ideal when you are a professional footballer

He looked amazing on his debut, then was directly culpable for not picking up the goalscorer at the back post iirc. I think he was at fault for a couple of goals which took the shine off his good work going forward. He’s never looked amazing. Especially on his debut. What hyperbole
