I agree. Think that was the initial plan. My guess is 70K. Still smaller than what I want but just basing on space allowing and infrastructure and police input etc. A headline capacity would definitely help in reminding the rest of the country how big our club is if pulling in bigger crowds than 99% of them.

With Bellingham and Palmer injured and Foden out of form he’s grabbed his chance from what should be the conveyor belt of U21’s. If he’s starting in the World Cup I’ll doff my cap to him as wouldn’t have seen that happening. Ironically if he’s stays fit then his next competition could come from Ramsey. He still wouldn’t get into our midfield even on current form IMO so there has been no great leap that others are discussing. Maybe just a better fit to a different team and system.

Not sure why we are having the revisionism. He’s not going to gain any pace over the coming years. Was noticeable how he struggled to get back behind the ball when he was caught out. We will need much better than him in 2-3yrs times unless things have went drastically wrong. Still wanting him to do well but I’ve not seen any difference in him. Give him time on the ball and he’s a nice player with some good footwork and balance.
