  1. Inevitable. Sissoko staying for now.
  2. So I take it we have a plan but not a clue?
  3. I'm out with Neesy if he can walk from around 12ish to watch first game but I'll be leaving to go to game and give Heza a hand with these flags around 2:15
  4. How much is the Membership? About 35 pound. Not a lot I suppose but with saving for house/kids I can't justify it plus travel costs and the ticket prices themselves. Used to get to a lot in in the Midlands and the mid north when it was just general sale. Plus the idea of paying to be able to pay doesn't sit right. Might be just me. Your prayers have been answered it seems... The club confirmed during the meeting that it will be making away tickets available on general sale for selected fixtures during this season following supporter requests. Season ticket holders and members will continue to enjoy priority access to all away match tickets as normal throughout the 2016/17 campaign, with demand expected to be extremely high for most fixtures. However, should away tickets not completely sell out during designated priority sale periods, the club will make them available to all fans where possible.
  5. McNair meant to be very accomplished according to my Man Utd mate.
  6. I'm just don't believe in loaning players when trying to build a team and a team spirit and sense of commitment and at the same time paying for the privilege of improving your competitors players for the future. I'm more long term with my approach but I'm fully aware this isn't the vogue anymore as players and managers alike move around with such frequency. What if we're midtable in January because Mbabu isn't fit and Clark/Dummett have been terrible and we've blown our best bet for promotion because our left back has been rubbish? We'll be mid table due to no quick creative midfielders and lack of a physical forward line not because of a average LB.

  8. In the 2 of the 3 games I saw him he looked very good. The other comment is just a "what if". Let's play them and find out one way or another and then look at it in January.
  9. Because then there would be something wrong with it I'd love Galloway here from what I saw of him but I simply want us to buy him and say you are our LB for not just this season but beyond. Then move on who is not up to scratch. I just don't agree with the win/win/win comment. More win than loose short term. Remy deal proved this as it simply prolonged the problem. Stick with Mbabu with Clark/Dummett as back up to January and see how it goes until someone permanent becomes available if they don't cut it. And if they can't cut it in this division then they won't higher up so move them on.
  10. Why is it silly or ridiculous if it was allowed that's the point I'm interested in if you see nothing wrong in it why stop at 3?
  11. So out of interest if it was allowed you'd all be happy loaning 11 players in an attempt to get promoted if they were all better than what we had?
  12. Explain that to the 4 full backs in the squad already.
  13. It's just quicksand thinking. Let's build a proper team with players who want to be here.
  14. No mention of option to buy which is a waste of time if true.
  15. Tough they will have to cope. It's a great rule and will improve the atmosphere as it will engage the two sets of fans at all home games hopefully if we get promoted. Applies to league only but could easily have the away fans behind the Leazes & East corner. Bemused by the negativity something like this brings out in fans.
  16. Any word on them even having a manager?
  17. Not sure he's ever fitted at Man City. He was however brilliant for Swansea.
  18. Exactly. Judge a striker on chances taken/missed. As a team we've not made an abundance of chances for many a year.
  19. Arguably the cheapest two were their most successful.
  20. Fair play doesn't really come into it. Was always bollocks anyway, if anything it helped the big clubs rather than hinder them. They should've just called it FP and removed the fair. It works if followed to stop clubs going bankrupt. It was never setup in my mind to make a level playing field.
  21. Agree with all that but why not let Mbabu develop in our first team. Because Mbabu needs to develop in general or just work on staying fit. He can't work on staying fit sadly so that is irrelevant and the two times I saw him play (Chelsea (H) Man City (A) ) he looked our best fullback though i dare say it could be argued he might not offer as much going forward.
