Not watched any videos but from what i saw of him at the U21’s I’d put him down as a technical giant but quite lumbering.

There clearly is. One has been promised something to leave supposedly whereas another has been promised a new contract discussion supposedly. Brentford only have a leg to stand on morally if that conversation was based on a select fees clubs or if it was either or between him and Mbuemo out the door first but not both. We’ll never know. Again with Isak we’ll never truly know but it’s one thing arguing for a pay rise pre mid contract it’s another then insisting on a release clause and the club taking a year to evaluate it as to afford the rise they probably needed to achieve UCL first. Either way I’m not a fan of both their behaviour. Particularly Isak’s as it’s not really a case of being at club with limited ambitions. We’ve made UCL 2 out of 3 in his time no different to Liverpool. We’ve won the league cup beating Liverpool no different to Liverpool. Possibly had better cup runs in general though not checked. Liverpool’s almost uncontested (probably a bit unfair) league win last season aside I don’t see a lot of difference except £. Both have good forward lines, midfields and ageing defence in the middle with two young full backs and very good GK’s. Hopefully things will look clearer Wednesday when I guess they all return for training at Benton.

Fair enough. Having a wise bit time off here at moment but from flicking through a few pages of threads I still feel many seem to set themselves up for disappointment when competing against cartel clubs. On the bright side that would seem like they have all filled their positions that we are looking at so we might now start seeing some easier recruitment… unless they are after a RCB, midfielder and more forwards Still feel Isak remains for 12 months but its going to rumble ALL window that one. Can’t see him playing against us at SJP this season. We’ll see though…

Technically we’ve already got similar money now that Isak would bring yet unable to sign who we want. Not sure why people think selling Isak would open the floodgates for players coming in. The cartel will still want the players we would be after and those in the UCL.
