  1. Their keeper was weak as fuck. Didn't have a great grip on the ball and very little contact was needed for him to lose it.
  2. It was always going to go a fair bit over 100 minutes as Bruno scored the penalty after 90 and Leeds made a triple substitution.
  3. Aaronson's having an Almiron October. Looks a nightmare to defend against when he's on form tbf, proper wirey little fucker.
  4. That lad for Brentford looked dangerous against us like.
  5. And the mistake against Chelsea was only so bad because of an outrageous bit of play from Joao Pedro.
  6. Just catching MOTD, an all time PL classic and on 3rd, after a 1-1 draw
  7. Froggy the pretend modesty is easy to see through you know Nobody is convinced that Ten Hag was anything other than a disaster and Amorim too. Man Utd don't have to deal with PSR issues like most other clubs so failing to ever challenge for the title is inexcusable.
  8. You ping a ball to his feet and more often than not he finds our player and in a large percentage of those times it's in a way that takes several defenders out of the game. He needs to massively improve his arial duels and continue developing as a proper threat in the box but as soon as our wingers properly click we should have a great attack. I like Wissa but he's miles away from what Woltemade can be.
  9. If you believe Amorim was going to have yous finishing in the top 5 you're off your rocker Froggy He's gone now you can drop the act.
  10. Gutted. Fingers crossed they get another shite appointment as any half decent manager has them back in the top 5 within a year.
  11. It was originally not given too, so VAR overturned it
  12. Even Chelsea's disallowed goal rolled past him As much as Pope has dropped the ball a bit this season I don't feel like he'll throw a game away often, the Marseille mistake was bad but came from him being so aggressive off his line, which is good. He needs replacing with someone who can kick a ball but I'm surprised at just how big the gulf between them is as keepers.
  13. Germany have had some of the best poachers ever, surely you've seen this
  14. Wissa's goal was down to him gambling where the ball was going to land. He scored loads of goals last year which look like lucky tap ins but it's down to him anticipating where the ball will land and being athletic enough to get into those areas ahead of the defence. It might only come off 1 in every 10 times (number pulled out of my arse) but over the course of a season those kinds of goals will stack up. A static striker or a one who just follows the ball will rarely be in the right place for a tap in. I agree Woltemade's strike rate and box presence is massively underrated like, especially given his lack of top flight experience. A few great saves and defensive blocks have stopped him notching a couple more too. He's never going to be as athletic as Wissa but his strength and reach can hopefully make up for that.
  15. Literally a few pages before the Chelsea conversation, this page and next is people talking about games where VAR gave decisions our way, and nobody is doing what you're claiming. We lost at Brentford and nobody was arguing with the decision to send Burn off, and thought he should have been off sooner.
  16. God forgive me for saying this, but wouldn't it have been better if he'd been killed.
  17. I still think of you go into the Man City, Brentford (?) & Leverkusen threads the general consensus will be that the ref helped us with shit calls like.
  18. If you can just gore the opposition then there's no need to even try and defend. Why try and shuttle a forward down to the line when you can just run at him full pelt and dive bomb into him like Chris Benoit? Why try and win the ball with your feet? If Chalobah wants to use his strength to knock Gordon off the ball then he needs to put himself into a position where he's contesting for the ball. The position he was in and the speed he was going meant he needed to make a tackle.
  19. People will remember red card and penalty decisions more than yellows but Schar's actual yellow was bollocks imo. I get what your saying because referees being inconsistent with their cards and fouls can be equally as shit as missing a penalty.
  20. You've just watched a game where 4-5 calls went against us, one of which was VAR lying, and you're arguing with people who are pissed off. Everyone was fully in agreement we got the the rub of the green against Man City. If Burn takes a forward out along with the ball and the ref doesn't give it I would not expect VAR to overturn it, if it happens 3-4 more times I'd be laughing at how lucky we were that the ref was shite and VAR never stepped in.
