Trippier has deffinitely planned his career out with us like He'll retire and go into coaching here.
-
Only real reason I can think is they want to keep Dummett around and transition him into coaching when he retires I like Dummett as well but as has been said his injury record is tragic.

Is that not more for things like shirt pulling etc? Where the fouling is persistent. Not saying that's the case, just makes more semse imo than the momentum of the players taking them into the box after the foul.

Shithouse Tindall to get Chris Wood to set off an EMP device. -
I cannot read 'roll your sleeves up' without that MS Paint image of Bruce in my head

Burnley have been on a 'decent' run all season tbf. They play horrific football but they haven't went on a significant losing streak.

Dembele scored 7 goals in 181 games for Spurs.

Chris Wood (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

You would rather sign a player based on his vaccine status than his performances? I don't think Weghorst was ever looked at like. -
Even removing our recent wins, our form from when Howe took over to Watford we took 7 points from 9 games. It's not great, and it looked awful at the time, but continuing on with even that form would give us 11 points from 14 games, finishing on 33 points. Possibly enough. You would imagine we'll better that though.

It seems irrelevant now, but before the Watford game everyone was panicking (me included) to the point where anyone up top would do. Think even Wood himself effectively said it was a panic buy. I don't think it was ever a choice between Weghorst and Wood. -
Said it before like but I find Watford a bit weird. Sometimes going forwards they look like they could tear any defence to pieces. Other times they look absolutely terrible. Ranieri was theoretically the perfect manager for them using his title winning team as a blueprint for hitting teams on the break but it never worked. Wouldn't be too surprised at all if Hodgson keeps them up like.
-
They probably have the easiest run in which is likely reflected in the odds, but every squad is better than theirs and everyone they're playing against probably needs to win.
-
Fucking hell that's an insane price They had a great start (DLWDW) beating West Ham and Wolves away but have since lost 13 games, drew 3, and won 3. Pretty likely the league have cottoned onto them since then.
-
Leeds can be great to watch too. Burnley going down and getting rid of Dyche might be a blessing for them and the league, but they'll bore the tits off of everyone to stumble across the line again.

Brentford, Norwich and Watford.

Liverpool made like 7 changes or something against Norwich though. Klopp has an insane squad with years drumming into them what they need to be doing. Howe has like 5 games or so of his squad playing really well together. I don't think it's so much as him not trusting Bruno to fit in as it is just him not wanting to break up his midfield just as he's gotten them going. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Bruno comes in and we look instantly better.
-
Back in training for support, aye?
-
I mean it does in theory and it might in practice but I think Howe has earned the right for us to trust what he's doing. He won't just be keeping Bruno out to keep others happy, he'll genuinely believe that it's the best thing for the team at the minute. As odd as it looks on paper that midfield has been rock solid recently.
-
Also Willock is only 22 and had an obscene scoring record last year. His goals have dried up but he is looking a very polished midfielder recently. I don't know why we would write him off as someone who needs replacing.
-
He'll not be doing this next year though. Under normal circumstances I imagine he would look at Brentford as a side we should be beating, and would play Bruno with the expectancy that we'll see more of the ball and need someone to unlock their defence. At the minute though I expect him to just keep doing what we're doing until it stops working.
-
Would be canny wild dropping Willock after he's just rescued us a draw like.

Would you have said Joelinton, Shelvey and Willock was a ballance midfield a couple months ago though? -

Only way Bruno starts is if Willock gets pushed up into Frasers spot. Unless Howe completely changes the formation which is highly unlikely to happen against Brentford. I think Willock wouod do well there but there's probably little point changing things. It's just that we all really, really want to see Bruno
