Norwich City v Newcastle United - 14/2/17 - 19:45 ko - No TV

He obviously thinks this is the strongest line-up based on what him and his team have seen in training this week, that's how he does it. He's not starting Mitro, Colback and Perez for the bantz. -
Aye if he got a club promoted and stabalised them in the Premiership he'd be set for life. It's what Allardyce and Pulis did. Easy gig from then on.
-
Aye that's what I mean. Silva has so far made the media look like the mugs they are, Bradley 'proved them right'. Any foreign manager coming into the Premiership with an unglamorous record (ie they haven't won anything in Spain, Italy or Germany) is going to be heavily scrutinised by the media, it's just how it is. It's pathetic but in Bradley's sense I can see the hesitation, I would have been pretty miffed as a Swansea fan. On the other side of the coin as a Hull fan I think I would have been excited about Silva, not because of his exotic non-American name but because he's a young manager who's had a lot of success everywhere he's been.
-
I think his record in the lower forrin leagues would be fine if he was in his early 40s. But at nearly 60? I just cannot see what there would be to get excited about.
-
Not sure why Kaiz fangirls over Bradley like. The stick he got coming in was ridiculous (it wasn't because he was American) but he showed nothing in his short time at Swansea to suggest it was worth persevering with him (or that he was the right choice to begin with). He chose to go to a struggling side in the middle of a season, it's the risk you take. The media did worse to Marco Silva.

Aye surely phases of play only matters for things like obstruction/obstructing the opporsition's view and not when the ball actually falls to the offside payer? In this instance the ball goes (indirectly) from Diame to Lascelles (who was offside), seems a pretty obvious offside. Had the Wolves player been in moderate control of the ball and played it to Lascelles it would be another phase of play.

The ultimate Indian giving.

Kill it with Dave -
We've played Wednesday/Saturday/Tuesday this season.

I've done my fair share of sticking up for him like, I find a lot of the critisism well over the top. Pretty hard to defend him when Benitez is forced to drag him off at half time though.
-
I just cannot wait until he sorts out that 'Plan B' he apparently needs.
-
Aye, if anyone else made that challenge whilst on a yellow people would be wanting them pulled off like. Especially if their history of sending offs is comparable to Mitrovic's. He didn't lose his head but he was clearly in for a 'battle' with the centre backs from the start which is why he was carded in the first place for an innocuous challenge.
-
The worst thing about the challenge was him feigning injury tbh, it made him look guilty as fuck and if I was the referee I'd have probably been swayed to card him because of it as he blatantly wasn't injured - therefore was trying to win sympathy. It was Steven Taylor-esque. The challenge itself was one that I couldn't complain if he was carded, but I don't think it was a certain yellow at all. I thought his first foul was though (the one before his actual yellow). He was watching their player and then went in with his arm.

What the fuck

I disagree that it was a clear yellow like, but it was fucking moronic giving the referee a decision.

Err, Blackburn. -
It's ridiculous how Marco Silva is seen as a surprise like (at least so far). He was a risk (and still is) but it was easy to check his record and see that he was extremely good everywhere he'd been (regardless of 2 of those clubs being 'easy jobs'). You'd think he was plucked straight out of the Paraguayan youth leagues.
