  1. Full time, only a point lost then with Reading getting battered too. Not as bad as it could have been.
  2. Forrest were awful, but it was pretty impressive how we nullified them despite the ease of which they could switch play and how difficult it was for us to clear our lines as every ball hit past the halfway line fell to a Forrest player. We didn't even look uncomfortable until the last 10 minutes or so when we got a bit cagey. 2nd half was basically something you'd expect to see with 11v11 Everton vs Burnley or summit.
  3. I think in some games we've smothered teams early on and then took our foot off the gas as the opposition struggles to trouble us. A few games we've looked pretty insipid in the first half and then come out in the 2nd and grabbed a goal or 2 pretty comfortably. I agree we don't look like a massively dangerous side, like Liverpool for example, but I always expect us to be able to grab a couple of goals. Statistically it's working too.
  4. We're all frustrated man Neesy, it's been a shocking week, but Blackburn aside we've looked like the same team that are comfortably the top scorers in the league.
  5. He's been fine and was in no way at fault for either of those goals
  6. i don't that's clear at all personally, if you watch it from the other side of the pitch angle you see he hardly lashes out at all, it's barely a movement tbh His left leg kicks back like. It's pretty clear. 39 minutes I think, Nobody. EDIT: I'm not saying he meant it like that like, maybe it's just a consequence of him being tangled up I dunno. But I'd be surprised if the FA see it any other way. Just seen it, cheers. Awful decision Dummett's red card, does the ref not even know the rules? Darlow's booking, he's walking back to the line as he is booked, what in the actual fuck is going on there? It's hillarious The ref books him for stretching down before walking back to the net, something which just about ever keeper does. As he's doing it the ref points back to the goal to say "get in there", so takes Darlow's action as dissent or something and books him. I bet he's a proper little grass in real life.
  7. Anyway just watched the Sky highlights, that Darlow yellow is fucking laughable There's been a lot of talk this season about us being wise to referees, laughing and joking with them to sweeten them up etc. This seems a clear case of some no mark coming out to show he's boss, that he'll not be swooned by the big boys. Just an utter joke of a performance.

  9. Shelvey missing is bad for us but we've played really well the past 2 games. Coming away with nothing from either is massively harsh and in no way a reflection of how we are at the moment.
  10. 2nd pen was a dive, if that's in the rules then they do need changing, aye.
  11. People just love to moan like, makes them look geet clever.
  12. No chance of Shelvey's being recinded imo, hope I'm wrong though. Whether right or not, or whether he meant it or not, Shelvey clearlly kicks back aggressively. We saw with Anita how adamant they are not to reverse decisions. If Dummett is still banned after they review it then I don't even know what to say.
  13. First was probably fair. 2nd was probably the worst decision you'll ever see.
  14. Hit the bar twice vs Hull too. The 5-10 minutes after the first red was still +75% possession too iirc.
  15. http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,94405.msg4953683.html#msg4953683 Thought I remembered reading it somewhere.
  16. Should have done a Quang Duc at HT and immolated himself in the centre of the pitch.
  17. Remember when he told everyone to get a proper job and vote conservative.
  18. Honestly think this Henri Lansbury lad is an absolute genius tbh He single handedly won the game for comfortably the worst home side I've seen in months. His effect on the game was beyond Messi levels.
  19. It's not even a f***ing foul, people saying Shelvey did anything wrong here, I don't get it. He's just trying to get up Howay man, he blatantly kicks out at Lansbury with his foot. Its a blatant red for Shelvey, but its never a penalty. Was it not a foul in the box? Exactly, this thought process is weird to me, if you think it's a red then the you had to agree with the penalty call. I still think it's neither a pen or a red, if anything it was a free kick to us for the initial foul by Lansbury. If Shelvey is fouled then it's a freekick to us and anything that happens after that is irrelevant really (in terms of that decision). I cannot blame the linesman though as I assume he just saw something out the corner of his eye and then caught Shelvey kicking out, calling a foul for that.

Its a blatant red for Shelvey, but its never a penalty. Was it not a foul in the box? Lansbury fouls Shelvey, but then Shelvey kicks out. So isn't that not a pen? Was the game stopped for the Lansbury foul? I thought it carried on. Aye it did (carried on). The linesman gave the call though so should give the foul on Shelvey first if he saw it all. You would have to assume he was drawn to the tangle (and therefor missed the initial foul) so probably made the correct decision from what he personally saw.
