If that's the case they would have to basically scrap these disciplinary procedures completely, and so would anyone else who decides things on balance of probability. Not that I understand the implications fully, but I think we might be reading too much into this. Not really, as most cases don't involve defamation of a players' character. I don't know if it makes a difference, but it should.

I know absolutely nowt about the legal side of this, but could it be taking this long - and longer - because our lawyers have said something which the FA are forced to take seriously? Th FA obviously make up their own rules outside of the law, but without evidence this is pretty much defamation. It's a lot different to charging someone with regular abuse or misconduct.

Statistically a lot more of our attacks come down the right side like, so teams will naturally focus more on Ritchie than Gouffran. I think his form is more down to the team just working better as a unit though, Gayle, Shelvey & Ritchie were basically winning us games on their own at one point so they looked superhuman, now they seem a lot quieter yet we're still winning (obviously Gayle is still being a beast up top).

Do you think we are getting the most from the squad we have ? I think we're getting more than the vast majority of managers would like. These same conversations happened after the first 2 defeats of the season, and again after Wolves. Everyone suddenly thinks they're a football manager and tells us what's wrong, then Benitez goes on a near record breaking winning streak. We could have done better today, we could have done better at Blackburn, I trust Rafa knew what he was doing with his picks though. Give credit when it's due, criticise likewise. fwiw for all we beat Rotherham, Bristol city and Barnsley i think we played massively below what we can. Aye for sure, I don't think we were bad today though, and losing 2 on the belt isn't too concerning given how comfortable we've looked for the last couple of month. I think it's fair to say that risking Sels was a bad move but I'm sure he has reasons to believe he isn't compete garbage. Obviously massively let down today.

Grow up hans you complete rench. No doubt you are completely against Colback starting despite our best results coming when he plays. I'm not against starting Colback, but he's hardly known for his Lampard-esque runs into the box is he? Just no need for overreactions after every defeat.

We're the Championships top scorers and currently 2 points clear at the top like, but I'm all for replacing Rafa Benitez with Neesy.

I get why he wants to play Sels, same with giving Lazaar and Murphy a chance (I don't disagree) but that's another game we win comfortably if he's not in goal.

Hull packed the box so it's hard like, especially when we're a Championship side who sorely lack a proper number 10. I don't think I've ever seen us misskick the ball as much as that before though, probably the conditions.

we played well today but fluffed our lines a bit against a poor Premiership side playing anti-football, I think we can chill out like. The last time we hit a rough patch we went and won about 40 games in a row.
