  1. Is that bald muppet on the right doing some soft of leprechaun dance?
  2. If only he had the courage to raise his middle finger to his wife.
  3. Don't you also believe Lee Charnley makes an excellent MD though?
  4. Good job I read back for reactions before typing my own, completely forgot what day it was.
  5. run of the mill ffs. He's not here anymore, there's no reason to keep this charade up.
  6. Forgetting everything else, his results have been garbage everywhere since Reading. West Ham, Charlton, and Southampton fans didn't want him gone because he was off fucking blokes wives abroad, or his players' girlfriends, or even the collective reasons we all hate him for. They wanted him gone purely because he's absolutely garbage at managing a football club. On a decent little run for Palace though so we must have just imagined up his entire career, he's actually really mint, obviously.
  7. I assume you don't bother watching the matches and just look at the table at the end of the season? And even then his last 2 placings have been 10th and 16th. One below par, the other absolutely disgusting.
  8. He was mint mate. Particular highlights were him nearly getting us relegated and his unprecedented 6 game losing streak.
  9. I hope he tries the 'win em with passion' approach again like, not that I think it'll give us any chance, just because of the hillarity. Dummett over Haidara and Armstrong coming on instead of Remy Cabella, Colback trying his hardest for a red card, Steven Taylor running head first into goalposts n that, it was mental.
  10. I haven't even said anything contrary to any of this, man, I've even said Spragia's decision is backwards, wrong and that his outlook is appalling All I was saying was that results aid development at that level so you still have to pick a team you feel is best for each fixture. It's a bit of a moot point with Scotland and Spragia but I wasn't solely talking about those, just in general. Again, here Spragia's decision is obviously backwards and wrong and his outlook is appalling.
  11. It's the Scotland U-19s. The reason we're stuck in this Scottish mess of s**** youth players being trained to be s**** and becoming s**** is because of this type of management. "We'll never win by playing properly, maybe if we run and tackle loads we'll not lose". It's an endless cycle of s***. They are just as likely to win by playing actual football, but the managers don't know how, so they claim it's just 'something they have to do'. Bullshit. Leaving the Real Madrid youth captain out is blood-boilingly f***ing annoying and stupid. Aye I agree, I was jurst jesting. I don't agree with Mole that "at that stage all that should matter is developing the kids talents" though. At this stage all that should matter is qualifying, actually playing in Greece will be far more beneficial to player development than a qualifier against the Czech Republic. Spragia's way of going about it is obviously backwards and wrong like.
  12. At some level though, results are important at this level. Going to European Championships would be a great experience for the youth players to play against the best of the continent, experience a real competitive atmosphere, and build relationships that could be vital if players ever reach the national team together. Of course, you can say that the inability to include Harper is just a representation of Sbragia's tactical deficiencies, which is probably correct tbf , but I don't think the mentality is necessarily incorrect. At that stage all that should matter is developing the kids talents, everything else is an after thought. at U21 level maybe because they are pro's at that point but anything else before that results shouldn't really be considered above development. Like Baba says though, if they don't get results then the experience is limited. Sbragia's outlook is appalling but you still have to build a team capable of winning at that level.
  13. I'm not playing down his behaviour at all. It just works both ways, I don't think he's 'incredibly fortunate' at all.
  14. 20k a week is a mega contract now? For an 18 year old kid who's played a couple of games it is a mega contract. FFS millions don't earn that in a year in this country never mind a week, especially not people his age.
  15. Incredibly fortunate to have had his life plastered all over the media too during his downward spiral.
