Watched a bit of the U17s WC yesterday. France were so much physically better than Argentina which made the game somewhat of a mismatch. Some decent football was played though, some good football in the Mexico - North Korea game as well.

CB, Striker, N'Zogbia and possibly a CM squad player. Probably another RB as well, or ideally someone who can cover both full back positions.

If we could offload Smith it would be wanktastic. I'd keep Best though.

We sign someone on a free which immediately rules us out of trying to a buy another player of a similar style. God forbid we might try and add a bit of depth to the squad, or give us a few options (rotating wings etc). Fuck me.

I despise Cardiff, but I hope Shearer does well if he goes there. For now I'd much rather have Pardew as our manager than Shearer, though.

You'd think 2 scouting networks would realise that a player easily capable of missing open goals isn't worth a high sum, whether it is 10mil or 6-9mil. I'll still wait and see for myself.
