    La Liga - 10/11

He'd add more depth as well, which they need. They could do with signing some defensive cover as well though.
  2. £30 on Accrington, Gillingham and Bayern. Fair chance I'll chuck a bit on Dortmund later as well, unless Neil does of course, then I'll stay away.
  3. Huddersfield, Brighton, Lille, Montpellier. £15 returns £158.55 Dortmund, Bayern, Sparta Prague, Zurich, Lazio. £5 returns £40.55
  4. Chelsea vs Man Utd Inter vs Schalke Spurs vs Real Barca vs Shakhtar Inter vs Man Utd Spurs vs Barca Man Utd vs Barca Is how I see it panning out. Would've loved Shakhtar to advance, the likes of Jadson and Willian are quality players, but I can't see them getting past Barca, like.
  5. I was under the impression that Ramires was initially signed as more of a holding midfielder type, but having seen him I wouldn't have a clue what his 'specialist role' is, so I agree with you entirely on that, and that he hasn't been worth his price tag, which I mentioned before. My point was just that he hasn't been one of the worst players in the premiership, which he hasn't. Worst in terms of value, possibly, but not one of the worst overall.
  6. Aye. Been very poor. Doesn't even appear to be a player who looks to have a speciality that you could see him using if he improved. He seems to be astoundingly mediocre at all the attributes needed to be a top midfielder or at least has been this season. He looks like a weaker, slower-footed version of the fella in your avatar. Better ability on the ball, obvioiusly, but needs far too much time on it. Just goes to show, Big Carlo signing Ramires, SAF bringing in Bebe; they're all human. Ramires has been playing much better of late. Sure, still nowhere near being worth the price that was paid for him, but to say he's been one of the worst in the Premiership when there have been players like Perch is ridiculous.
  7. £5.3 million according to Sky. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6817231,00.html
  8. I had Peterborough, Leyton Orient and Huddersfield in one treble and Burnley, Wycombe and AFC Wimbledon in another. The former won and every team lost in the second bet. £45 profit overall.
  9. FWIW, Barca had a penalty decision turned down at 0-0, which was a penalty.
  10. Aye, looks rank like. Both the Argie tops are lush though, might get one/both to add to my collection.
  11. We should've gone in ahead at half time really, but then when we went down to 10 men we managed to withstand a decent spell of pressure pretty well. Good tactical change from Pardew as well. Tiote, Best and Willo were probably our top performers today for me, just a shame Best couldn't bag a goal. Harper really needs to learn how to kick, like.
  12. It was at 3pm though EDIT: Either way, it's a long time.

Tbf, at the moment if I got married I'd let the whole first XI go through her. EDIT: And Pards, probably wouldn't have a choice with that one though.
  14. I wish I was as wise as they are.
  15. I can't believe a few people have actually looked at this negatively, like.
  16. Why? More chance of him being sold in summer, so he could've had a bigger moan. He can't really complain about him signing a new deal, poor lad.

    N-O Player's Awards

You could have expected someone to perform, but they've improved so much that they're most improved, whereas you may not have expected someone to cut it in the PL but they've played pretty well so they're an unexpected performer, but perhaps haven't improved as much as someone else, so they are different. It's a fine line though I guess.
