  1. The only way Isak goes is if he agitates for a move and it seems like he’s pretty content at the moment. If we’re not in the champions league the year after next then it might be more likely he goes but that’s a way off yet. Just don’t see the club selling him, his current form has almost priced him out of a move anyway as he’d cost an absolute fortune. 120m + Arsenal fans will no doubt assume they’ll be getting him this summer ? (I actually think they’ll sign Toney)
  2. I agree I don’t think it has to be a total overhaul. Obviously if Bruno left that would force a restructure in midfield. But assuming no big players leave and then they can ship out a few possibly like Wilson and Miggy and bring in a few in key positions we’ll be looking pretty good. Striker, a right wing option and CB depth seem like the key areas. I’d still love a really solid experienced LB to come in too.
  3. I actually think we need 3 strikers really. I can’t see Wilson staying and another striker coming in too but that would be my preference. The problem is Wilson can’t be relied upon as the dependable second striker because he’s out so much. That then heaps major pressure on Isak. If he stayed and we brought in another striker then we’d be looking really strong but highly unlikely. He has just built a home in Darras Hall though so that doesn’t sound like he’s looking to move anytime soon ?‍♂️ My guess is a promoted club or bottom half club will take a punt on Wilson and we’ll use the money together with a few others say maybe Miggy to boost incoming signings.
  4. Yeah I agree on Gallagher. He’d slot into our midfield well but with Tonali coming back, Willock hopefully back to full fitness next season, Anderson is going to get better and Joelinton has resigned I just don’t see the need. In the event of a Bruno sale there’d obviously have to be a restructure a bit but even then I couldn’t see Gallagher coming in. Our transfer funds will go heavily towards CB, striker, winger and possibly a starting LB too.

    Joe Willock

Unless there’s a rupture surgery isn’t indicated for an Achilles. Reading between the lines it’s a complex tendinopathy which can be hard to manage let alone in elite sport. Sounds like the best decision to rest him and get him ready for next season.
  6. It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Wilson. He probably needs moving due to his fitness record but be interested to see what they decide re transfer outlay
  7. Yesterday’s performance shows that there’s real reason for optimism next season. Elliot Anderson looking good, Krafth playing well, Murphy doing a job as a squad player. If you bring Pope, Tonali, Joelinton, Livramento, Trippier (assuming he stays), a fit Willock, a new striker who’ll likely replace Wilson, a new RW, new Cb, back into the equation……..
  8. Showing everyone he’s developing plan Bs ?
  9. I don’t think there’s anyway we sell Isak. Bruno there’s a greater chance because he’s a few years older and we can possible make more money FFP wise. Like if Real Madrid come in for him things might get interesting. There’s a positivity building though that makes me feel he stays next season.
  10. I think if we get Europa league and with Joelinton resigning I think he’ll be here another season and who knows we might get back into the champions league next season.
  11. He looked in good shape yesterday like the fitness is coming back properly. Looked really sharp and dangerous and worked so well with Isak and Gordon. His goals will be vital for us.
  12. The LB situation is still interesting for me. Like what’s going to happen with Targett, do they see Hall starting next season? Seems like other areas are more important (RW, CB, striker) but sorting LB out properly would be good.
  13. I guess it depends what they see as vital to the side, they spent 40+ on Gordon. Will be interesting to see what they do but they’re definitely bringing in a RW I think.
  14. Yeah in general it’ll be interesting to see how much we have to spend in the summer and how much allowance for player wages. There’s going to be a lot of changes. Adidas money etc.
  15. How much do you think he’d be now?
  16. He's versatile which is key, seems like an ideal signing for us if we can get him.
  17. I am leaning towards Bruno staying another year as big Joe has re-signed (and if we get Europe) so yes Bruno in as well is a great thought. That said I wouldn’t be that surprised if someone comes in for him and he could still go. If Joelinton improves his finishing a bit he’ll be outrageous.
  18. I think he’ll be colossal for us next season and it’s exciting to see what Tonali will be able to do in that midfield with him.
  19. As you say it’s a mixture of both as factors. More games and including those of higher quality with a depleted squad puts pressure on the players in a smaller rotation. As a physio myself and looking at it from that angle I definitely think there’ll be a review of some sort to look at decisions which were made in certain situations by the medical team. Are players being brought back too quickly at times, are there enough concrete decisions being made to stop players trying to force themselves back too early? I don’t know I’m just surmising. That said there have been a few freak injuries which have then healed more pressure on the squad. I’m sure everything will be looked at to see what they can do better as you can always improve every aspect of your club. I do also wonder if Howe will have a think about how he manages the team in certain situations moving forwards. Is there a way he can play in games where he drops the intensity a bit when there’s a boat load of injuries.
  20. Ofcourse he’s gone ? We seem entirely happy to sit and wait this one out for the appropriate financial settlement and rightly so.
  21. Our issue remains the lack of any options off the bench. I’d the crowd and players are fired up we can win but as the game goes on Spurs will be able to effect the game more form the bench which might swing it.
  22. Chris Waugh is generally excellent I think, a really good listen. The forced attempts at humour on POTT is truly dire ?
  23. I think Trippier might go and it wouldn’t surprise me if Targett moved for more game time. That said if it’s true and he’s on 100k (find that hard to believe) then he will be hard to shift. LB is currently a weak area though. This summer will be very interesting to see what happens in all sorts of positions.
