  1. "I think if MA got a proper football in as Chairman this club would be in a much better state, Lambias seems an utter prick and is utterly clueless about football & this city." Exactly this. As Keegan says in that youtube clip you've got Ashley who knows nothing about football with Llambias who knows even less. It's just another one in a long line of cock ups on Ashley's part.
  2. First and foremost we're in the premier league next season
  3. Whether it happens or not we'll see but the thought of a fully fit Ben Arfa and N'Zogbia playing together is frightening and thats not just the egos, lol Seriously though in an entirely positive slant two players like that playing together could do serious damage to an opposition.
  4. I'm certainly a lot happier going into this given yesterdays results. They have a lot of pace but the pressure will be squarely on them what with being close to the relegation zone. The fans there are brewing with anti- Houllier frustration and the longer the game goes on without them scoring the more the crowd will get on their backs. I'm still bemused at the anti-Newcastle banners and jeering and general smugness from Villa fans on the day we went down. What was that all about? It would be great to get a win here and really have Villa fucking creaking badly with alarm bells going off!
  5. Looking at the fixtures of the other teams down there this really is our chance to hammer it home and make us virtually safe. You know what that means, lol I can't stand Mick McCarthy too, annoys the fuck out of me. Need to win lads, come on!
  6. I was talking to my West Ham mate post their FA Cup loss to Stoke and we were saying what a genuinely awful side they are. Imagine paying to go and watch their "rugby football" ffs, dear oh dear. That said I can see us conceding the usual "lob it into the goal/goal mouth scramble! type goal and going down 1-0. Seriously can't stand sides like Stoke.
  7. 6 points above the relegation zone but in the context of this season it is a little bit different because it's so bunched up. It's not like we're 6 points off relegation and sitting in 16th. Our goal difference could prove crucial too as it's basically another point.
  8. Shit result but defo an over reaction imo. Hopefully the two weeks before Stoke away will allow the likes of Barton, Enrique and Ireland to return. I think we can rule Ben Arfa out until a possible cameo appearance before the end of the season. Hoping that Shola starts with Best in place of Lovenkrands who is utter shite lets be honest. Table hasn't changed that much, we're still in 9th and it's still very tight. Stoke have been playing shite, might not be a bad time to play them really.
  9. Great away win, I was buzzing last night after my mate confirmed the score by text in the pub. Well done lads. We have the makings of a really good side here just a shame we're run by an absolute oaf of a man. We "could" really kick on in the summer with the right signings and cement our place in the prem league again, will it happen......
  10. A good result here sets us up nicely for the two home games. Not convinced by our strike force getting the all important away goals but it would be good to see Ranger get a longer run out as he atleast causes plenty of problems with his size and pace. I'd take a point at the end of the day going into the next run of games.
  11. Looking at the next 3 home games coming up we should go a long way to securing our safety really.
  12. Frustrating as but looking at the bigger picture it's not a bad away result and we're sitting on 32 points.
  13. I have absolutely no doubt that Tiote will be gone in the summer.

    Alan Pardew

"And the responsibility falls on the owner to provide him with the funds for that. If they don't, there's nothing he can do. He's being strung along just like us imo. He's just using kiss arse tactics as a way of trying to win Ashley round."

    Alan Pardew

Jonny I happen to think Pardew is genuine and I think he's doing a decent job working under those two cronies but at some point the responsibility falls on him to make sure we atleast have adequate cover especially as he initially staked his claim on Carroll not being sold. To be fair I think Ashley would piss on his own Mother if he had her managing the team
  16. Yeah we defended well apart from the American football "hail mary" pass over the top for the goal
  17. Yeah exactly, irrespective of the Carroll departure I've seen Sturridge go on loan to Bolton and Vela to West Brom and even if Carroll hadn't gone we should've been looking to add. We were up against it tonight, literally down to the bare bones and with some key players missing but the way the club has backed itself into a striking crisis is nothing short of ludicrous. It's just ridiculous that two years on we've had "another" pathetically bad january transfer window which broke us last time and got us relegated and might do again. Thankfully with the likes of Tiote, Ireland and more to the point Ben Arfa coming back there is hope and we should have enough but I just don't know what to think anymore.

    Alan Pardew

Irrespective of the Carroll transfer shouldn't the club and more to the point Pardew been looking at some loan options such as Sturridge or Vela. The Ameobi injury just rubs salt into the wound and makes Pardew look like even more of a mug. Playing with fire imo.
  19. I went to watch that at Craven Cottage tonight, I'm seriously worried now. And that worry has turned to anger because "again" the club has made the same mistakes and fucked things up. The Ameobi injury just shows the running of the club for what it is, total and utter fucking farce. Jesus
  20. Just about to leave to head over Putney way for the match, howay lads!! See you on here later for a post match review.
  21. We're run by a pair of cunts, we'll never go anywhere under Ashley and Llambias. Carroll being sold was the "big one" once they got rid of Hughton and I have absolutely zero faith that the money will be re-invested. Pardew has done alright and speaks well but he knows the score really and is complient with whats going on above so even if he comes across well I just dont believe anything he says. Who is next out of the door, Tiote?
  22. Is it actually him??? but "Andy Carroll" on twitter says "Going nowhere"
