  1. That's a good point Ian and I had a similar thought leaving the ground We weren't at our best today but Stoke are past masters at making life difficult for teams by any means necessary, literally. It'll keep them in the league but magine coaching that ffs
  2. Just got back from the match. Pretty awful match all things considered, Christ Cisse was awful bar the goal but then he's there to d that I suppose He'll get, goals with the right service but Christ some of his link of play and today he pretty had 2 left feet. Thought he was lucky to stay on the pitch to be honest from where I was sitting but will have to see highlights again. We desperately need HBA back to give us more attacking balance and its so noticeable when Sissoko picks the ball up and runs. He's often on is own. Absolute steam train of a player though What an absolute shower Stoke are, and people pay to watch that week in week out, fuck me. Truly the anti football Christ. S glad we put this shower away even if it wasn't pretty.

    Papiss Cissé

Glad he got the winning goal. Looked like he was lucky to stay on the pitch from where I was sitting, but will have to see the highlights.
  4. I definitely wouldn't have moaned if he hadn't played on thursday. Let's just hope it's a small knock though.
  5. Yes don't understand them either. Yeah exactly I thought his press conference said there were no new injuries apart from the slight doubt over Cisse. As said we'll know shortly anyway
  6. If that is the case it makes a mockery of flying him out to play on a dodgy surface given they'd kept some players out knowing the potential adverse reactions on a surface like that. Stupid
  7. Yeah Sissoko will cause them all sorts of problems. Must be difficult to keep an eye on him knowing Cabaye can thread one through or bang one in from the edge of the box too. Moved over from Gallowgate to Gallowgate/Milburn corner for this one. I'm studying all morning for Uni so I'll be primed to release some tension/stress by the time I arrive

The Norwich game is massive for them next weekend. Lose that and they really might get sucked into it. I don't think they'll go down though, they've still got enough in the side as drab as they are.
  9. Yep go out and do the job and put these cloggers away.
  10. Tomorrow is big to be fair, really need to bag the 3 points.
  11. Think QPR will stay up, Samba in the groove now, Remy scoring goals, they have real momentum. First time I've watched the Mackems for a while (obviously) and fuck they're a dour side. Midfield is utter shite
  12. So much for the Everton wankathon at the beginning of the season
  13. HBA involved in any form on sunday is a bonus. He'll probably get half an hour and might be needed to open things up if god forbid it's a tight, frustrating game. I'd bank on Cabaye, Sissoko and Gouffran causing them enough problems though.

Strange one tomorrow is that in the event that the Mackems win tomorrow the silver lining of sorts will be that Qpr will be really mired in the shit. Draw would be best
  15. Yeah just read that myself, what a cunt if that's true
  16. I wasn't blaming them just making the point that it seems they think we played our first eleven thursday night with the same lot to play again sunday. Agree though europe did ruin them and the same thing will probably happen to Swansea next season too.
  17. As I mentioned in the other thread, a few of the Stoke fans on their board seem to be overestimating the effects of the trip to Russia on sunday's match when you consider the players that were rested, were ineligible and those who only came on for a few minutes. Need to put these to the sword and they've slumped in form recently. Hardly a pushover and always dangerous from set pieces but with our quality we should be able to put them away. I see Huth is suspended.
  18. Quite a few Stoke fans by the looks of their board seem to be overestimating the effect of tiredness as a result of this match. Especially when you consider Debuchy, Gouffran and Santon didn't play and Tiote and Taylor only came on for very brief periods. Oh yeah how come there's no Stoke match thread yet? Just realised.
  19. Yeah he's strong, holds his position and seems good on the ball. Seems to have a pretty good idea when to get forward too but without leaving too many holes at the back.
  20. The fact that he has such fantastic recovery pace too is very reassuring.
  21. I don't think it's bashing when you show concern to the lads poor defensive play, especially when you consider he is a defender. Call me old fashioned but i prefer my full back to be a good defender above all else, then you look for one who has good forward play too. This - absolutely. Totally agree.
