I thought the atmosphere in Howe’s first season in the battle to stay up was amazing with the togetherness. I went to most home games as you could get tickets. The next season too the atmosphere was amazing. I think the champions league qualification has left some fans maybe “expecting” things with a bit of entitlement kicking in possibly?

I think it’s a good sale too but it’s pretty disappointing if we offload two players and aren’t able to bring in anyone at all this window.

I don’t think we can control games properly with him because he isn’t good enough on the ball. I agree he offers us something different in terms of physicality and power but he’s just a bull in a China shop at the moment. I would be looking to upgrade at some point with a much more technical player.

Has always struck me more as an impact player for later in the game as he doesn’t have the ability to control games. Unfortunately now he’s not even performing as an impact sub and looks stale as.

I find it odd that people are so desperate to get a pint they’ll miss the final 5 minutes of the first half. I mean you can drink before and after the match.

Walking yellow card. There’s a difference between playing hard and just clumsily barging into everyone.

First goal is key with them. They’re not good if they have to chase when going behind.

Having a dream season, nobody could’ve foreseen this but plenty people wrote him off as being hopeless which he clearly wasn’t. The sale still made sense at the time though. Hindsight maybe releasing Wilson and keeping Wood was the better option.

Anyone think Arsenal might come back in for Watkins in the summer? Yes he’s not 24/25, but he’s a ready made prem striker and an Arsenal fan.
