  1. He is playing in a new league and has been struggling with fitness recently. Give him time (e.g Gordon). He wouldnt have come if he was dead against leaving Milan.
  2. Do you mean Botman? Wilson has a mild hamstring strain so I’d be surprised if he was limping.
  3. Gives a rough outline https://www.premierinjuries.com/injury-ta
  4. My guess is flexor tendon related and happened when he went to push off and accelerate. Tendon inserts/connects just under the toe and acts to bend the toe or push off in running action. I’ve seen similar type stuff in clinic but not elite sportsman obviously.
  5. He’s certainly got to be one of the really good back up options in the league. As you say he looked pretty good last night, great leader too. The squad feels so much deeper when you see Lascelles and Dummet playing like that. Excellent use of players by Howe. I think he will probably move on at the end of this season as isn’t his contract up?
  6. Isak seems like it was probably precautionary. Howe probably said if you feel absolutely anything come off so he should be ok, he said as much too. Burn, Botman (presuming he’s ok), Longstaff etc to come back in.
  7. Thats a good point. I guess if anyone could reignite him Howe could but his injury record probably also figures. Thinking about it wasn’t there rumours he turned down a loan move to us in the summer?
  8. No coincidence we’ve improved since he’s come back in. If he starts adding regular goals, what a player.
  9. My account has been acting funny recently. There was a few times it was saying I was a bot and that Is tried to log in too many times plus a few other things. At the moment when I go into ballots section it now says “you are not allowed to enter any ballots” ? Not sure whether this is because there isn’t anything listed but it doesn’t seem like a smooth process at the moment. I also don’t feel like I’m going to get a ticket currently, maybe I’m choosing the wrong category ticket or more likely just low odds of getting a ticket with so many members.
  10. Would anyone take Philips in Jan if he was available from City?
  11. Anderson gives us so much more depth now that he can start games.
  12. Very interested to see what team he picks for this. Maybe Livramento coming back in, Isak probably starts.
  13. He can improve his finishing, if he does that he could be awesome. You need some radge in the team and if they’re lightning quick than all the better like Bellamy was.
  14. Hes stupidly fast and direct. A nightmare to defend against.
  15. I think we’re starting to see now why Howe was so keen to get him
  16. The bloke is a complete and utter car crash. He paints this “I was hard done by at nufc” bollocks conveniently omitting hanging on for his 8m. The job that he simply couldn’t turn down when he arrived and yet went to Wigan and the Mackems before us ? Then when he finally did come left Wednesday with poor professionalism. And apparently the abuse was shocking and yet received worse abuse at Villa and the Mackems. What’s even more bizarre is the way he’s created a parallel nufc existence suggesting things like he stepped aside for the good of the bloke and was even recommending Howe to the new board. The man is an utter fraud and charlatan and Louise Taylor nailed him as a knacker with her article in 2011 ffs. Just fuck off.
  17. Youre probably right thinking about it again. Big chance to pick up a solid away win and get the league form started properly.
  18. This is where it gets interesting. Sunday game, midweek v City, weekend game v Burnley then PSG. Players will have to be rotated. I agree with a few, either left back or right back might come in but not both. Livramento seems the most likely to start but a lot might come down to niggles and fatigue. Wilson to start for me, Barnes and Elliott to come back in too. Definitely missing Willock in these rotations and a fully fit Joelinton for that matter.
  19. The lad clearly has bags of potential and he’s probably the answer to the left back situation but Howe is clearly waiting for the right time to bring in him and bed him in, he’s still a young lad. Plus we don’t don’t know his current levels of fitness, readiness to start etc.
  20. Agreed it’s not working that well with Tonali for the reasons you’ve highlighted. A combination of him settling further and lots of training will improve things though. In time a 6, a creative RW as left well as left back where Hall has probably been earmarked to come in will upgrade the first 11.
  21. Yeah it’s painfully obvious we need another option at left back. Targett is seemingly struggling to make his mark again which is a shame. I think we’ll see Hall gradually get more time and maybe even start a bit second half of the season.
  22. That’s a good summing up. There’s no harm in pointing out players aren’t in form and can do better but the overreaction from football fans thesedays is ridiculous. Someone is a god one minute, then they’re shite. Fwiw I thought Bruno looked a lot better on Saturday, he was recycling the ball quicker. In time I’m sure Bruno and Tonali will play well together but Longstaff definitely allows Bruno to do his thing better and Longstaff with Bruno and Tonali might work well. I wonder if they’ll look to bring in a more traditional 6 type player who can shield the defence, break things up and allow the likes of Bruno etc to crack on ahead of them.
