That doesn't count for a single thing. You have no idea what are the other players beliefs are other than that they are muslim?

Can be read as ''until he accepts to wear Wonga on his shirt''. This Easy to see how we aren't budging and the only way this is resolved is that he wears the wongo logo or he simply leaves the club. The charity/no sponsor would have cleaned this mess up a long time ago. Wonga obviously won't budge having the Newcastle iconic number 9 shirt blank though.
-
If he's agreed to wear charity logo or no logo at all, what actually is the problem? Have Newcastle denied this option to happen and insist he must wear Wonga which has made this dispute go on longer than needed?

First draft?

Did he play DM? I seen a few people on twitter suggesting Anita was the getting more forward and Sissoko was holding more?

I let P have that one even though the context wasn't pointing towards that standard but it was a correct answer to my question technically… but the fact no other teams can be truly mentioned in which this ends well speaks volumes. Not worried about the mackems in the slightest. Ticking time bomb as far as I am concerned.

Seems like Richardson is still in the frame considering he was chosen ahead of Newton and Inman. I don't agree with him being ahead of the other two from what i've seen.

How many clubs have had a massive turnaround in players in a single transfer window then went on to have a successful season in the Premier League?
-
Tbh i made the error of thinking his time was up last season when he got crocked again, thought his chance had been and gone but i honestly had no idea he was still only 20, probably should have looked at that, assumed he was at least couple years older. Given he's only 20 he's definitely worth preserving with for at least another season as it's clear to see the lad does have a fair amount of ability when he is actually fit to play. Whether he can actually stay fit is another question, i can't see it myself but he's worth another chance considering his wages won’t be a problem.
-
Is it just me or does it feel like he should be a lot older than 20 for how many chances he's had.

I thought Dawson was good value for 5 mil, thought he was excellent last season. Didn't really rate him too highly but was very impressed when i seen him in a fair few games last year. Done well to be pretty much getting pushed out in pre-season to suddenly being captain. Took a gamble on RVW and Redmond for Norwich. Also went with Giroud, Arsenal throwing around Monoply money so i think he will start and fancy him to improve on last year.

The children of the future will all here Shola stories. This man won't be forgotten.
-
Can't see why anyone would give him a negative send off. Local lad who came through and regardless of people’s opinions calling him lazy or anything else, he has given his all for the club. I'm the first to admit i couldn't stand Shola, i called him week in, week out for years. However he slowly won me over, i came to realise it wasn't his fault he was so shit and managers stuck by him. He's never caused any trouble here, he's been popular in the dressing room, he's created some good memories on the pitch and some good chant memories off it. The end of the day, he's been regularly shit for the past decade, he's been booed off the pitch, he's been booed on it but he's always kept his dignity and never retaliated. Been one of the few players who has actually treated this club with the respect it deserves, a true professional and I will look back on his career here as a fond one.

I've opted for MYM and HBA....Sissoko and Cisse were in my first draft as well but got cut, so yeah there is value in our players if you're brave enough to take them.

Would have liked to have seen the reaction to that conversation!

How do you mean? Disappears too often (when on the pitch). Drifts in and out of games. Great when on the ball at times but he doesn't go looking for it nearly enough for me. I see where you're coming from but it's up to us as a team to get the likes of HBA and Marveaux on the ball, it's no good them coming looking for it near the half way line. We should be getting the ball to their feet further up the pitch. They both want to be on the ball so it's down to likes of Cabaye to find them in the space in which they can do most damage to the opposition. Far too many times last season, especially HBA, had to come far too deep to collect the ball and found simply too much to do once they were on it which left them ineffective for large period of games.

He will succeed if given the chance too. Not that he's failed so far, far from, but given a specific role in the side and he could shine a lot more. Thiago leaving has helped his cause.
