The back four picks itself and Steven Taylor is certainly not picked.

Players burning 20 pound notes in public stories, not enough of them.

Agreed. Even when him and Colo did have the falling out, they worked things out then still managed to come to a positive solution regarding his personal issue and now he's staying for another year. A manager with poor man-management skills could have easily let that situation spiral out of control the moment they had the first disagreement.

That will do me, he's dropped from my fantasy. Cheers. 10-15 goals isn't enough for a midfielder? In time he said, haven't got time in my fantasy to wait around for him to bang 10-15 goals in a year or two years time when he's developed well at least that's what i assumed he meant.

Not really sure where to put this....Paulinho... is he an attacking mid who will score a fair share of goals for Spurs or the defensive mid i seen in confed who will pop up with the odd few?
-
Anyone care to moan? Naaaaa we've just signed Remy. Fuck England.
-
We've got a few edgy characters in the side now who look capable of losing it, Cisse/Cabs/Tiote/Debuchy/Colo.

I don't do decimals man, but cheers 11/8 ht/ft, it's a bit skinny especially when it's Pardew's word we are betting on.

8m isn't exactly a 'decent price'. So far Liverpool had refused to pay that and while Cardiff does, he rejected them. Hughton got the bargain player in Redmond, that's the kind of fee and wage you expect to be paying for that type of player.

Knew a decimal odd was coming.

What are we at the moment?

What about the knackers inside the ground who just hurl abuse at him everytime he gets the ball?
-
Quite surprised how many he scores with the head, pretty good.... That's him taking corners then...

Never really had the Aussie assumption before, i've always been told i must be a yank. I'm just from North Shields, nothing to shout about here, sorry to fool you guys with my name

Well my mate's a Crewe fan and he said he's better than anything they've got in his position and would be an excellent signing if they managed to get him and they really took to him. He said they did try and play him out wide which never worked out for him but when in behind the striker he was fantastic for them. When i've been to reserves matches he's often looked like he's got the ability and i've always been a big fan of his and really do hope he carves a good career out for himself which i do believe he will. However I’m probably being bias as I watched him for our school team as he was in my brother’s year and he was a class apart then so have always followed him and hoped he would do well.
-
I hope he does. Never understood why he was always overlooked. Me neither, i think he's comfortably better than the current bunch that have actually been given a chance here and there the likes of Newton and Richardson. He goes out on loan for the first time and is loved by Crewe fans and actually did a fantastic job for them then he comes back with no appreciation from us. Very disappointing. Actually take my hat off him for turning down the new deal to take the step down to work his way back up if he feels that’s best way he will get recognised. Good luck to him, our loss.

We hardly turned to Sissoko for Ba's replacement, we probably wouldn't have even got him so early had we not been in such a mess. Gouffran was more a last ditch replacement for Ba after our first target Remy turned us down. I think it's clear Ashley knew he made a mistake last summer and is keen not to let that happen again, many on here just went into meltdown because we never went sign crazy soon as the window opened like the mackems did. We are always going to be patient with deals unless they have already been put in place months prior.

Thought Downing and Henderson both started hitting some decent form towards back end of last season but regardless of Liverpool now cutting losses after realising they've made a huge financial error by buying bang average English talent for huge sums, i wouldn't even bail them out and give them 5 million considering his age and wage demands.

mind boggling thought isn't it? with pardiola and killer joe running the show it's almost a nailed on certainty which one we'll be after I'm not buying this like. Our policy of buying players over the last 18 Months or so would actually suggest we'd go for the younger with a better re-sale. Sick of reading negative posts like this which are negative just for the sake of it. Just one of those things you have to come to accept on here that if we get Downing that's Pardew's choice, if we get Ince that's a great choice by Carr. Similarly to Gomis is Carr's, Bent is Pardew's, no teamwork and agreements in this game.

Disappointed we haven't managed to tie Inman down to a new contract and he looks set to move to Crewe, honestly believe he will be playing in the Prem one day and has big potential.
-
It's actually refreshing to see some actual positive comments on here. Knew it would arrive eventually. Hope it’s here to stay and everyone gets behind Pardew and the team for the upcoming season.

Yeah totally agree. I think we have two quality fullbacks in Debuchy and Santon, Santon was just giving more time to settle in by watching and coming off the bench, whereas Debuchy was just thrown straight in. Think next season could be a lot more to come from both of them.
