I think he has a hell of a lot going for him considering that was his first step up to the prem. He certainly didn't look out of his depth. My mian problem i've seen with him is that he is all left foot, struggles to come inside and easy shown down the line. He works his socks off though going forward and tracking back, gets stuck in for the team, always looking to beat his man but can get an early cross in as well. Looks like he has a decent strike on him and is a threat in the air. For a 23 year old winger i don't think you can argue too much against him. I can definitly see him moving elsewhere for a bit of money if he has another good season.
-
Bit harsh, he's only 23, just broken in to the first team, has produced some classy displays and faded towards the back end of the season. I think he's showed a lot of promise and with the right coaching in certain areas could do very well for himself. Far better than the mackems anyways. Got a lot of things going for him.

I'm getting tired of people posting clips that cost to view. We get it, you have a bit of money in your back pocket.
-
Probably getting a post box painted gold for him.

Half time bets is what i usually do. When the first goalscorer goes down, go chasing at half time, it's a familiar occurrence with me
-
He scored didn't he? Should be first name on the team sheet.

I'll go and change them then. Suggested stats? Read more: http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=722009&page=2#ixzz23blXz9oI I like this one. Guy claims he's a data reviewer for the game. The SMB are going to be rating their players lol Yeah that's a classic as well.........suggested stats lads, i'll just pop into to the fifa network and edit FIFA 13 so mcClean has Messi potential and Colback is the next Scholes.

Kicking off as they think FIFA are now against them and are biased towards the toon.

Some indian fIrm have bought out Ladbrokes at the match, forgotten the name Bet Butler i think they are now called. My mate works in ladbrokes saying how they aren't running it anymore but apparently some staff have agreed contracts to still attend and work the matches. Disgrace like. I'll be very suprised if this doesn't all go tits up and a few games in to the season start paying out as normal. Either that or they offer double odds
-
Not sure if a giggs. But Newcastle will no longer have ladbrokes shops at the ground, been taken over by another firm. Fairly big catch though....if your bet wins, you can't collect it after the match in cash, you need to wait till the next home game to collect. If you do want to collect after the match only a cheque can be sent out. What a load of shite that is. Imagine if Cisse scores first with a queue of people filling out their addresses after the full time whistle. Epic fail.

I suppose everyone has their own style of managers that they like, and different personalities in the game. I liked his era at Celtic and just always thought he was a good manager who knew how to get the best out of his team. Was gutted when he went to the mackems as he just feel he's far too good for them. Hopefully this will be the first club he massively fails at and see's him relegated for the first time.
-
As for Pulis and Big Sam, they've achieved nowhere near as much as what MON has in all fairness and they are a shocking comparison. People will always disregard his achievements with Celtic becuase it's the Scottish league. But there is no denying what a great job he did with Leicester. Then even to finish 6th 3 times in a row with villa is a far cry away from what they are achieving now. Not sure what people expect him to do with Leicester, Villa and Celtic to give him more credit.

Just like when we were complaining at Bobby, well the majority were. When looking back he was actually still doing a job. Easy to blame the manager in charge when expectation is rising then when it all goes wrong blame the chairman for letting him leave or blame the manager for leaving a bunch of crap behind. Completely different. Bobby's time was coming to a close, but it was not backing him fully and then giving f***ing Souness £50m to compensate for his s*** managerial capabilities that coloured our hindsight. Booby's time was coming to a close because the fans were moaning and groaning about poor performacnes and not finishing top 4. No denying that the newcastle fans were a big reason to why he was sacked. I for one still feel guilty to this day for not realising what we had.

Norwich? Your actually counting Norwich as a club he has failed at Just like Keegan and Ashley, never going to work. Keegan's not a failure.
-
Everyone slates him on here, yes his transfers can be looked and laughed at, some of them are a shambles but there is no denying he is a very good manager. The bloke hasn't failed at any club, he left Celtic and Leicester as a legend. Villa fans hate him for walking out and being huffy. They weren't complaining when he was finishing top 7 on a regular basis. Look where they are now.
-
So he plays that formation throughout his managerial career without chopping and changing depending on the opponent? Give over. Yes he has found a formation that he used at villa and can use with the mackems, doesn't mean to say he sticks with it game in game out. If that's an effective tactic for him of course he is going to use it.
-
I think Brummie might have something to say about him being a good coach; as for tactically aware, I'm not sure you could be further from the truth. Even his motivational skills didn't seem to last too long last season. The majority of fans would have been happy for us to have MON before Pardew arrived. The mackems should stick by him as he's the best manager they are going to get by a long shot.
-
I think it's pretty simple for MON, he's a good coach, tactically aware and good motivator. Get's found out with his signings though which on a whole are shambolic. Doesn't paint him in great light as knowledgeable person of the game.

It's never ideal but should be fine.

What's the design, i've liked the designs on a whole, been fairly decent since they have been introduced. Would have liked to seen this design with my own eyes by now like but either the postman is giggling at me or box office have cocked mine up for the 2nd year running.
-
Don't think he's anything great but he has good positioning inside the box and certainly knows where the back of the net is. Gabbidon is a pile of shite like. Wouldn't have him anywhere near our squad.

Baffled to people now thinking Jonas is a better CM than winger and that's where he should play. Yes obviously in 4-3-3 formation he slots inside but that's because he isn't good enough as a forward to play up top in a 3 and never has been but he is effective still playing in a 3 man midfield. There's still no doubt though that his best position and best performances come out wide in a 4-4-2 much to where he will play this season. He's an integral member of this team but to think he's now best as CM for what ever reason is complete and utter nonsense imo.
