I'm going to put it out there but i'm with Ali on this one. I prefer Higuain to Benzema and i've never liked Eto. Obviously he isn't shit, he's had a cracking career and achieved a hell of a lot but i've just never been his biggest fan, i do believe he is overrated slightly. It's more a question of why pay 15million on Carroll when you could look elsewhere and sign someone with more quality at a better price. The inflation in English players probably does equate to Carroll to being worth around 15 million but you could go abroad and look for striker for around that price who has a fair degree more talent than Carroll, which would suit our side more in a technical sense.
