Can see these turning there attention towards Neymar after that performance and dropping their bid for Llorente. Don't think they could afford both. Although i could be wrong.
  2. I think it's more likely Marv will be fighting with Ben Arfa for a start rather than Jonas, still not convinced Pardew has fully committed with Ben Arfa yet. Can see him replaced most games and missing a fair few as well.
  3. Just checking in to see if he has signed yet?

One of the best things Pards has done since arriving is edge each member of the squad to further progress, regaining there confidence and improving them as a player in some ways. The ones that stand out notably i would say Perch, Shola, Williamson, Raylor, Guthrie. Not only them but the youngsters coming through having been improving vastly getting more and more game time the likes of Sammy, Vuckic, Abeid. Each player for me has looked like they are full of confidence and improved slightly as a footballer. And if there confidence has dipped due to poor form/injuries i can see Pardew still getting them back to their best (Marveaux, Obertan, Saylor). All that for me is one of the most impressive things I’ve seen in Pards.
  5. Nice and simple. Nothing complicated '4-4 fucking 2'. I hope we do go with this as our main strength side but then adapt it for certain games.

I was talking about this last night, feels good but a bit strange that i can't really see Newcastle without Pards lol really does feel like he's here for the long haul and long may it continue.
  7. Harder than it should have been mind. Nervous times for me but comfortable times for the bank balance. Just how i like it
  8. I don't think he's a wide player, still think he looks slightly nervous in the side and trying too hard but has shown some nice touches and has a good passing range. Looking forward to see him progress in the squad. Him and Bigi have both been having a decent pre-season to date, very happy with what i've seen from both of them, nice prospects.
  9. I'm in...my debut season, let's see how this goes. (Tuck It Away Smallsy) Reina Dawson Saylor Santon Lennon Dembele Lampard Hazard Rooney Aguero Cisse Subs: Elliot Clyne Fabio Gibson That bench is one to be feared!!! You's all better hope i don't get any injuries!
  10. Heard good words for Scatter Dice in 2.20 at Ascot, fave has been withdrawn and you can 2/1 now for scatter dice. Haven't put any lucky 15's or patents on yet but will be having a look through soon. Anyone know of any really fast horses today?
  11. Makes sense. Probably get offered a canny wage/signing on fee and with a ticking time bomb for a knee would like every penny he can possibly get whilst it's still ticking. Tick Tock.
  12. 'load of bullshit' by the press more like. Normally I wouldn't believe it but Im sure I remember something on BBC sport along with a few others. Also, I remember him gesturing to his players to come over a few times. Maybe you've got a point tiresias but hes never struck me as being that likable - managing Chelsea certainly didnt help Think it was the sun that claimed he said all this about the payers should respect him and celebrate with him but it was all a load of bollocks really. Sure he was just saying how the players on the pitch should respect everyone on the bench and in the squad because they are going the same emotions. Certainly don’t think AVB was given a fair crack at Chelsea. I think he made mistakes and tried too hard to stamp his authority but I definitely can see him being a success in the future weather that be at Spurs or somewhere abroad.

  14. This thread is destined for a sad ending rather than a fairytale
  15. Euston we have a problem....MO is being a tight cunt again!
  16. Wasn't aware of this, what was our final offer for de Jong? Can imagine us testing the water with a similar figure. We aren't discussing Remy anymore in the Remy thread. We are discusiing Dan Gleebals name. Post Remy comments elsewhere.
  17. Thanks for pointing that out, I thought it was his real name. Ditto, just thought it was some dutch bloke. I also thought he was Dutch. Not sure i'll be able to take him serious now after this revelation
