Absolutely no chance, it’s a retrofit story. The reality will have been that Isak will have said something much tamer like “I want to see a stronger team next year so we can challenge for silverware. I want to win the biggest trophies otherwise I’ll want a different club.” It will have been something clouded in that sort of language if it was anything at all and now it’s not comic out that it wasn’t even an ultimatum, he flat said he wanted to leave. Aye, well why didn’t your story break earlier you fucking worm

Keep it coming. The facts are he’s faked an injury, he’s gone on strike, he’s saying he won’t play for the football team he’s contracted to on £130k+ wages and he’s done everything in his power to try to force a move through a scorched Earth approach that is really only fitting of being described as sociopathic behaviour. He can be as scared as he likes, I’ve heard we’ve got good security in our Premier League 2 team. Hopefully a year with them can help bring his fears down a bit

What would be their set up? VVD LCB and Guehi fighting it out with wantaway Konate at RCB? Puts a fair amount of pressure on Guehi given that Konate is class, even if he is planning to run his contract down. Couldnt care less about Guehi going there in all honesty. It’s been clear for a year that he had no strong desire to come here

That really is some embarrassing shit. How much are they getting in their back pocket for this shit or is it just sycophancy with the hope that they’ll come off like they’re a part of it all?

Yeah. The pint glasses are making me think it’s real

Is that photo AI? The one with Moyes?

Loving the fact he’s got some hype artists on his side

I’d say yes it is. Given we have a fragile squad as it is

I like Jacob Ramsey a lot, he was extremely exciting when he burst on the scene and it’s all slowed down because of injuries. It really just hangs on that, if he can remain fit he’d be a great signing and a huge upgrade on Willock. If he can’t then he’ll just be a Willock replica

We were watching him before Mitchell arrived here so it’ll have been Nickson
-
Eurgh, I don’t want him to go to either Spurs or Arsenal
-
Fair play to him, nice to see people respecting the club they play for

What are we expecting from him? Steady bottom half club regular for most of his career? ie, we sell him to a West Ham or a Wolves in a year’s time? This season we keep him with us? Or does he cost us a squad place and we have to send him on loan?

I disagree personally. The work we do with the rest of the squad is separate to this and if we remain successful we’ll keep attracting the best talent or being in for them. We already can’t pay the best salaries because of PSR. The idea of further damaging our financial position for a player who has done Eve turning possible to fuck us is just not an option in my mind. Maybe I’m too emotional about it but it just doesn’t make business sense to me either

They’re not going to come in for anyone from us. We’ve humiliated them on this one, they were arrogant enough to think they could lowball and get it through with the press and Isak acting like a spoilt brat. They’ve realised that’s not going to work now and that they don’t actually have the money to do the deal. Enjoy Ekitike lads, let’s hope his attitude doesn’t get out of hand too quickly

Wish I’d got a job as a tea lady there, even if only for a year or two. I’d be retired now and sipping caipirinhas by the beach

There’s not a world where I’d give him more money and a contract extension with a release clause. The release clause would be shared with multiple clubs within seconds and it wouldn’t be set at the price we want for him. Just let the dickhead face the reality that he’s got three years left and we’re still going to get a ridiculous fee for him in a year’s time then ask him whether we wants to play football and have people interested in him or whether he wants to be a pathetic little bitch that’s hated by his own fans and who everyone in football thinks has completely lost the plot
