I disagree personally. The work we do with the rest of the squad is separate to this and if we remain successful we’ll keep attracting the best talent or being in for them. There’s not a world where I’d give him more money and a contract extension with a release clause. The release clause would be shared with multiple clubs within seconds and it wouldn’t be set at the price we want for him.
