Targett’s a likeable lad but through injuries and competition for his place he’s in a position where he’ll likely only be a sub longer term. He clearly could play for a bottom 10 PL club at LB week in week out once his fitness returns so hopefully he can get the move

This is a very strange shout. Be amazed if this ended up being the case
-
Wew, everything must go
-
Would say the transfer and contracts for high earners nearing the last four years of their playing career is pretty clear. Sell if there is interest
-
I think the most likely candidate would be Burn. Longstaff is possible, Bruno seems unlikely to me. Could have been Pope if he was fit
-
Yeah, I don’t think they’ll go much beyond £15m, I reckon that would be the limit and I think we’d accept that
-
This third offer is the one that’ll seal it I imagine
-
Fair play if he goes, he deserves to be playing regularly. He’s been a great captain for us and a committed player. I’m not going to be sad to see him go but its a shame he wasn’t younger as I think Eddie would have made him into a really strong CB
-
Don’t know why I did it but I checked out a thread on Twitter where someone was defending Miggy and giving him credit. Cesspit responses followed from “the fans”. Honestly don’t get why some people follow football
-
That’s our not quite fully formed embryo you’re talking about. Get out

So many journalists are the thinnest-skinned people going. They love giving it out and can’t take shit. Fairly sure the reason Hope and Edwards write such awful pieces is because they can’t handle a bit of criticism so they want to troll the fans. It’s playground stuff
-
Yeah, the lad took responsibility for it which was fair enough in the end
-
I’m waiting on @TBG to confirm the figure
-
I reckon there’ll be some worried faces in there. They’re obsessed with drama and even though it’s not “affecting the product”, there’ll be some execs who think it will
-
Nottingham post? I think we need a player like MGW and I think he has a big ceiling that Howe would be perfect in developing further. It’s huge money though and is it a priority position now? Probably not, but they’ve shown they’ll make deals for young players who will improve when they’re available. It sounds like the kind of transfer we’ll do
-
I’d be amazed if we’ve seen the last of him. Howe loves him, he’ll sign a new contract
-
He was on £130k at Man City, so if he wanted anything close to that then it would be really stupid of West Ham but they’re not the brightest brains in the business so who knows
-
Is there a rule yet allowing for prosthetic limbs? If not, we need to start lobbying hard for it
-
Do tend to agree that £37m for him seems a bit much, especially after four dislocated knees
-
Doesn’t look anything like Haaland, so odd how people have to go with “the next”…
-
Nothing gets me more excited about a player than their dribbling and close control. Looks absolutely class with amazing natural ability
-
More deets please, anyone tell me about what sort of player he is? And why are they letting him go?
-
It’s not like KSA give a single fuck about resale value. They’d get three years of him at his absolute peak. Anything above £25m is a great deal for us but also fair given what’s been going on in that league
