Wouldn’t say it’s desperate. I’ve resigned myself to him not performing well until next season and that’s probably not a disaster for us with others being able to play there. The signing has been borderline disastrous so far and would be a disaster if he doesn’t perform next season but we’ve gotten this far so far this season with him barely playing a positive role so it’ll likely continue
