My feeling in the ground was that it was intended for the ref and people caught themselves and stopped booing when they realised it could be interpreted as towards the players. There was a short boo round then general malaise noises followed by proper booing when the ref and linesmen walked off the pitch. I didn’t boo at the end of the game but I did boo Jared when he left the pitch

Think part of the reason he doesn’t get the praise he deserves is that his game is relatively simple and he does things that are so clinical. It just gets taken for granted. He’s very close to being the most clinical finisher in the premier league. It’s fucking mad how he doesn’t get more respect

To go back to the Svensson red card for Dortmund, he gets the ball, his leg is straight, he has no pace in the tackle and the other player is running onto his leg. It’s a fucking disgraceful decision and another example of how people who don’t understand football have been given huge power to influence it. Of course when you look at the still it looks bad but the context of the action shows there’s no intent, no recklessness and that he gets the ball. Wouldn’t even have given a foul
