  1. Yeah, they’re diametrical opposites on that ability. Bruno is probably just about the best at shielding the ball, getting his body in the way and either winning a tackle or, he’s extremely good at getting a pass off when he’s unbalanced or not able to set himself. Longstaff relies on the failed flop anytime someone exerts pressure on him and he hasn’t had time to shield the ball. He’s also particularly poor at getting a pass off when the pressure increases, he invariably snatches at a pass and loses possession
  2. Not a foul, let alone a card
  3. This could be it for Luton sadly, what a gutter
  4. Fuck’s sake Luton man, get your shit together
  5. Luton deserve to stay up, really hope they can do it
  6. Disagree in general. There are obviously a lot of things you can do to look after yourself and it will catch up with you if you treat your body like shit for years. However, there’s enormous amount of luck related to injuries and some people are just way more susceptible to things than others. Ledley King, Callum Wilson to an extent, Michael Johnson was ruined by injuries at an early age. Not sure if that sent him into a bad place or whether he’d already been there. Whether you get a hamstring injury, muscle injury, ligament injury is largely out of your control for most footballers I’d say. The vast majority will be looking after their bodies as best they can
  7. You can tell that lad has racked up 10000+ hours on football manager games
  8. He wouldn’t even play if he went with the team. Would be great for him and his confidence but couldn’t be a worse time in terms of him needing a rest
  9. I agree that he should be wrapped up to a degree from here, shouldn’t be playing more than 60 mins and would be good to get Anderson some more minutes before the summer so we can see whether he can make nail down a place in the squad longer term
  10. KSA can fuck off digging them out of a hole
  11. “Has he told you what he’s packing down there? He’s got an absolute truncheon packed away. Just don’t tell her about the STDs la’. Oops, blown your cover there. Hahaha”

I do love green spaces and I also like the fact it’s so odd but the amount of footfall it must get will be tiny compared with what it could be. I wouldn’t want to see it no longer being a wildlife area but it does feel a big waste in its current format. I’m saying that as a person though, I’m sure the cows and other animals love it and it’s their world too

I’m enjoying all this chat about the town moor. Irrespective of anything related to the club, is there any hope that the moor(s) will ever be anything other than wild grassland?
  14. I liked Conceicao, right level of red hot rage throughout the match. Arteta’s emotions are confected. He’s a massive fucking weirdo who needs taken down multiple pegs. He’s enemy no. 1 once Klopp fucks off. Arsenal’s fans are spoilt brats as well
  15. Pepe’s lived long enough to go from the villain to a hero
  16. If Havertz misses a pen there’ll be jizz
  17. Pleased for him, was always a good lad
  18. Zinchenko reminds me too much of Michael Cera, can’t take him seriously
  19. Havertz takes any opportunity possible to be a cunt
  20. Would be gutted if Havertz got a PL winner’s medal. Would be remarkably undeserved
  21. Always impossible to tell what an individual player’s priorities are. They don’t owe us anything really although they have to make a faith-based decision. If I stay here, can I achieve what I want to achieve, e.g. win trophies, be in CL year on year. Isak and Bruno won’t stay for two seasons out of the CL but I hope they’ll stay for one out of it
  22. Pyro? Jesus Christ, it’s a football match. What is wrong with people. I just want to watch a football match in an atmosphere where everyone’s engaged and getting stuck in, making noise, cheering the lads on etc. that’s all I want
  23. Can’t think of a game off the top of my head that has quite a lot riding on it that we’ve overturned such major odds before
