Could only see that if we were definitely selling ASM
-
You hanging in there ok @Mike?

Think Man U have been scored too highly there. Fabinho lets Liverpool down a little. Havertz lets Arsenal down and is unproven but could be quality for them. Man City are clearly the best there

Strange goal, don’t feel the ball was really floated in with intent but Gibbs-White made the most of it
-
Not watched him play up front for England much, given it’s only been a handful of minutes but I don’t see him as a forward, certainly not a target man or against low blocks. He’s also not ever going to be a great dribbler so he’s not going to be an elite winger. He does have great pace and he can strike off both feet so I think I see him as someone who drifts in and uses his pace to run onto lofted balls and through balls. I think he’ll get goals that way.

Smith Rowe looks the best player on the pitch

Was 100% a dive, he kicked his leg out into the player, really sly stuff from the NE’s premier shithouser. Glad they missed the pen, justice

“Everyone talks about the great fans here at Newcastle, how great will it be to be supported by such great fans?”

This lad is the Don, looks cool as fuck
-
Don’t think anyone wishes him ill, we all want him to succeed. We’ve just got absolutely fuck all to talk about on here at the moment

It’s probably that typical bullshit of “you have to believe you’re the best to be the best”. How do all the top people in football brand themselves? They have their initials on their shoes and tracksuits, I’ll have some of that and then I’ll be modelling what ill become
-
This window and upcoming season for Forest must be pretty disheartening. They’ve got an older Chris Wood, a bloated squad and not really any resale value apart from for their best players, Brennan Johnson and Gibbs-White who they’d be screwed if they lost

Aye, a comment that I have major issues with. We have an endless amount of shit ex-footballers from the men’s game who are handed media jobs and contribute nothing. I’m all for widening access and getting away from the same tired names. I really can’t stand the “positive discrimination” debate, we should be looking to have a diverse media that represents the people and the audience. That’s such a simple concept and I find it baffling when people have an issue with it

I don’t doubt for a second that there are people who jump on Aluko because of her race and her sex. We know there are tons of racist and sexist dickheads about. Still, if she has an opinion I think is shit I’ll call it out. She’s got just as much right to say what she wants as the great swathe of other terrible football pundits and commentators out there, which completely dwarf the very few people who talk sensibly about the game
-
I can’t stand Man U but in spite of the spending during the Glazers era, the Glazers are utter parasites. Owners like them are awful for football
-
Kane is disarmingly good. You look at him physically and his close control and you think he really shouldn’t be world class. However, his finishing off both feet, his aerial ability, his movement and his passing and vision are all world class

Voted Tory in 2019, was open about it and I remember reading some quotes from her that came across extremely poorly. It was on her Wiki but isn’t on there anymore

Aye, looks like the kind of person who has a crypto bio on Twitter and always posts inspiring yet nonsensical comments like “don’t let the sun go down without using all its light” and “rise early, think fast, work smart, make bank”

There’s a highlights reel of the CL final 2008 on ESPN. Think Terry missing that penalty in the shootout is amongst my favourite non-NUFC moments in football
-
Doesn’t get more Dyche than ASM
-
We need a red hot rumour before the end of the week otherwise I can see some forum beefs reaching boiling point

Not a dad then? Skin to skin contact is recommended with newborns to help with bonding. Fairly sure the vast majority of dads do it, I did -
Are there any more commercial partnerships / sponsorship that we’re anticipating in the near future?

Got a really good feeling about this lad, hope he smashes it on loan
