  1. Are Chelsea against selling him to Palace? Or do they just not have the cash to make it work?
  2. Wish I could be a fly on the wall in Dyche’s office right now
  3. I just gave the green light to myself to check this thread again, who the fuck is John Kirby? Couldn’t even spell his name right, Birky, what a weird name. Don’t trust him
  4. Feels like a lifetime ago that we loaned Wood out, that in itself was a huge bit of business
  5. That video is class, super endearing. Was nice to see him talking about how he recognises that his shooting needs to improve but he’s not putting too much pressure on himself to get it right. Honestly, if he could improve his striking of the ball he could be a fantastic box to box player
  6. Hope we can keep our heads tonight, that’s the main thing. We were really loose with the ball last week and we need to make sure we don’t do anything stupid because of how emotional the game is. As long as we can approach it like a normal game then we’ll win
  7. Ashby certainly not, but Gordon will be competing most likely with Willock for a starting spot in a few weeks time, unless Howe changes things the formation up and gives Longstaff a rest
  8. Hilarious how everyone is ghosting Everton. Who else could we offload to them?
  9. I think Gordon is a great addition, Ashby fits the profile of player we need at RB, have never seen him so can’t comment on his game at all. Mainly delighted that we’ve finally managed to shift some of our players who are not going to contribute much more to the club. Hope someone can find a home for Fraser before the end of today
  10. Is it a typically vague long-term deal?
  11. My deadline day hard-on is flaccid. Might just call it a day now
  12. Looking forward to finding out how ‘important’ the fee is. With six months left and at his age, we must be talking £7m-£8m max. Hope Arsenal don’t get too generous
  13. No embedded tweets but a couple of pages in half an hour, not happy lads, not one bit
  14. Maybe you should have trusted him and played him, David?
  15. He was explosive in the air, I remember some fantastic finishes, can’t really remember the misses as my memory of those days isn’t great so I’m sure you’re right on consistency
  16. Really? What makes you think that? I think he’d be a great fit for Howe but I think we’d think he was out of our reach financially and I don’t think we’d be near the top of the list of teams he’d want to go to
  17. Ferdinand was physical, explosive and so clinical. I feel like Wilson sometimes matches him for clinical finishing but doesn’t come close with the explosive power and bursts of pace that tore defences apart
  18. Seems a very Leicester player, what does that mean for Barnes?

    Nick Pope

Been our most consistent player all season. Poor Burnley got absolutely rinsed. He never ever messes up his positioning or decision making
  20. He’s about as reliable as Sean Casey but has a blue tick
  21. I think we’ll make top six even with a key injury but top four basically requires that all our best players remain fit until the end of the season, which is very unlikely
  22. It’s extremely damaging to them long-term. So many players’ careers will come to nothing there while Chelsea stack up enormous debts. They’re gross and I can’t wait for Boehly to fuck off and take his ‘human capital’ approach with him, the utter freak

    Football pet hates

Aye, he’s climbing inside his own arse of late. He’s very reliable even though he doesn’t break things early, it doesn’t mean he needs to make himself into a personality with it and should realise people only follow him because his information is accurate, not because he’s got some wacky lines
  24. I think we’ll bring someone in on loan, someone with PL experience but I wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t
