Think it’s a bit early to be looking at xG as a comparison as there’s a tiny sample size for Howe, especially as it includes an Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City, Man U and Leicester game. I genuinely think it’s almost impossible to fairly rate Howe on what we’ve seen so far. The only thing that I think we can say is that his in-game management could be better

Big fan of this lad’s attitude, strikes me as someone who will always give his all

I don’t know much about Cantwell, how come the people have strong feelings about him? Is it based on seeing him play a decent amount or just the fact he’s a midfielder from a team that’s somehow even worse than us?

His left foot was always immense like, he should have been a star. When we sold him I was sure he was going to go to another level. I think it was probably more down to injuries than application that he faded away so quickly

I don’t think this is the doom and gloom signing people will make it out to be. I think he can do a job until the end of the season, and that’s all he’s here for. I’m not remotely excited but from a pragmatic point of view, I think he helps our cause
