  1. Have absolutely zero recollection of him from last season. Did he start games or just get short cameos?
  2. Aye, I’d say there’s less than 1% chance he makes anything of his time with us at this point. Hopefully he can have a decent career but it won’t be here
  3. Nothing a new set of players won’t solve and another £1bn
  4. Tino starts over Trippier for me but he won’t
  5. Hojlund’s body does seem like it’s on the ropes for someone his age. Is it his back again? For such a physical striker who puts themselves about constantly it is a big concern
  6. Clearly there’s a ton going on based on Howe’s quotes about constant meetings about recruitment. It’s going to be quality but low on quantity. I’d imagine we’re getting max three players in even if there are outgoings. Could possibly only be two incoming but I’m going to stick on 3 as my prediction in
  7. This an attempt to force Eddie’s hand by undermining Tindall?
  8. Miggy and Kieran look highly likely. Wilson? Bit less clear, would be surprised at anyone else who played at least a few first team football matches last year going
  9. Versatile player with elite passing range? Playing LB, a very hard position to fill in world football. We got a bargain with him
  10. Prediction……Your N-O account banned by Christmas
  11. I’d say Barnes is close to ticking all the boxes for Howe, he’s exactly what he wants in a player aside from the fact that he’s limited to only playing one position. As a manager, having a player that you know exactly what they’ll do game after game successfully is massive. We’ve also seen his game develop under Howe to show more creativity and clever passing. He’s a great player in spite of his game having a few limitations (not searing pace, not a great dribbler) as his strengths, shooting (probably second to Palmer in wide players in accurate shooting in the league), movement and reading the game
  12. Bet that played a part in their desperate attempts to chase him from the city and how they kept calling him a trash footballer when we signed him
  13. Could this be a smokescreen for a 4-year contract extension?
  14. There’s not a side in the world that Isak wouldn’t improve. He’s a top 3 striker in world football in my opinion
  15. Maybe there’s a Saudi team that rival Newcastle in their fetish for monitoring players
  16. Who are Football Insider and do they have any sort of track record for breaking news?
  17. Had never heard of either of those PIF directors before. They ever come over or is it just the big lad, Yasir?
  18. That penalty moment was pathetic but I’ve decided to attribute it to the fact that Chelsea is a vile club and that feeds into their players
  19. Mitchell’s model will be about the long-term. The remit will be to have us challenging for top four this season. As such, we have to go for players we’re sure will improve us immediately
  20. I haven’t looked at his stats but I’ve watched him play probably 8-10 times and I’ve seen a lot of things I like. These stats look fairly decent but if they’re similar to Murphy’s then the stats are obviously not telling the full story as he’s far more gifted on the ball than Murphy. I’d say that Murphy is definitely a better crosser as things stand but obviously Madueke has a lot of room to grow. Equally, he’s been playing in a clownshow of a team for ages so under a proper manager and coach with regular game time I think he’ll be class https://fbref.com/en/players/bf34eebd/Noni-Madueke
  21. Would be delighted with Madueke. Don’t want to give Chelsea cash but hopefully we can stiff them as they need to offload some squad members
  22. Son’s done, aye. At least with regards to being way off his peak
