  1. Potentially an almighty bargain. Jack approves of this signing.

Really, really hope he takes us down. The people in charge need the blood on their hands.
  3. They're back in bed with the club again so the days of nonconformity are over.
  4. It's one month today since the club knew he was off and they remain sluggish at best while Rome burns at an increasing rate. My standards aren't generally that high but the longer they take the better the manager needs to be tbh. You can't take over a month (probably 5-6 months realistically) all the while talking a good game then deliver Gordon Strachan.

Not true. They hoped to know more. Was trying to be positive jack

  7. I know I keep saying it but Hughton slaughtered the mackems 5-1 under far worse conditions than Pardew ever faced. The only glass ceiling on the pitch is the one Pardew built for himself.
  8. Keegan would have loved Austin in his team. Ideally, he'd be our number one target this summer.
  9. Or the club which let him leave without any sign of a fight.
  10. Lovenkrands can go fuck himself. He loves both Ashley and Pardew which puts him above the other sell outs.
  11. Garth Crooks' writing style is finally catching on.
  12. Nah! Lennon isn't a kick and chase guy man. That's Theo. Theo struggles to keep control dribbling at pace. He usually is best when he knocks it forward and then gets there quicker than the defender. Lennon dribbles with the ball at pace really well, as does Sterling. Walcott was one of the most devastating midfielders in the league for a few years before his injury. He's light years ahead of Lennon in almost every way. Man, I love Walcott, but what I have said is just fact. Why do you now take this to mean I have said Lennon is better than Walcott? I would never take Lennon over him, ever. Walcott was mostly a striker coming up, and it's always very evident when he is out wide. What he really excels at is getting into goalscoring positions from that position, and he is an excellent finisher. His pace can also be used to good effect out there still, and he can still beat a man, sure, but he is not as comfortable on the ball when you watch him out wide man. His touch and close control when dribbling is not as good as Lennon's. No way. You called him a "kick and chase guy" so I thought you were laying the Kakdown on him In his defence, it's quite hard to do anything on the wing for Arsenal as they play quite narrow and the opposing team usually has 10 men behind the ball.

  15. He's a goalscoring midfielder. We need one of them.
  16. He's definitely worth buying. Could be mega very soon.

Not sure about all time but 9th is their highest in the PL. 11th, 9th, 12th and currently 9th.
  19. Aye, no real conclusions to draw yet. Let's ignore the last 7 years and wait another week just in case we've actually spent loads. Ill be very surprised if Ashley hasn't taken money out. Him not taking anything out will be the only surprise possible. Everything else has been set in stone since Keegan took him to the cleaners. He didn't apparently take anything out last time, did he? We just made around £10m profit? Same difference to us like, not sure what his motives would be for either. His loan is magically going down iirc.

It's complete bollocks. They got more points the year before under Rodgers than they did that season. West Brom "won the league" that year and lost 17 games Aye that's all fine in hindsight but he's talking about that during the season before the end of season implosion which led to Rodgers having more points. 8th would still only be a 3 place improvement from the year before. If Rodgers had got 5 more points he'd have been joint 8th himself (with Liverpool and the mighty Fulham).
