Lee Ryder says 2-3 months, Scott Wilson also 4. Ryder obviously wasn't listening, the silly plank.

This thread was doing so well for about 5 pages. No CT chirping up, no Baggio in sight, then Lord of the Trolls Ronaldo pipes up over the word innovate. See you in 50 pages fools

He seems like a nice enough bloke, but he's a right media whore.

Brown as Tiote's replacement Yanga-Mbiwa as Colo's replacement Seriously though, if that happens............

Don't want to kill the lad off and i don't think I'd drop him. Especially when it would mean handing Santon his full league debut away at Old Trafford! But him playing at left back is hindering Jonas somewhat. He looked really fed up against Everton like, constantly covering for Raylor, he had to do it at Stoke before that and he did it again Saturday. We are limiting him massively as an attacking player, he looks too knackered to have a go at the full back when going forward and he's always sat so deep on Raylor's toes.
-
His positioning and body shape were wrong for the second - something you could maybe forgive a player for, baring in mind he is arguably a midfielder and he was on his wrong side i.e. Left Back. It's probably happened a few times this season in less dangerous positions, with lower quality opposition who haven't done the ultimate damage...although that's not something I could say was 100% correct, I reckon it probably is. You're not wrong in your criticism, I just hope people don't think this justifies him being kicked out the team. As for the first, any player that close to their own goal makes themselves as large as possible, and as hard to beat as possible. An opposition player wont be looking at the defender thinking "His arms are out let's get the penalty." They'll be thinking "f***ing hell, where do I put this" or "I'll just smack it." I don't think Raylor did a great lot wrong here, and I'm not saying you are, but a number on here are just waiting for people like Raylor to fail. If the same happened with a more liked player (possibly Saylor) or a younger player (Santon) then not as many would complain, in my opinion. I think our back four have been outstanding, as has Tim Krul this season, and the stats reflect that. I could be wrong but I don't seem to remember Krul having too many saves to make at the weekend, despite Shiteh's domination. That's pays testament to our full team, but more specifically our back 5. Raylor is more than a squad player at the moment, he's a key player for me, as are the other 4 in the back 5. Their performances have alone have laid the foundation for the midfield and strike force to do their thing. That's not to say anyone else has under-performed, just that this has been the bigegst factor in our success to date. The best defence in the league despite the fact we have played Shiteh, Spuds and Arsenal, not to mention tough away trips to Stoke, Wolves and the scum, says it all really. Sorry Sifu, I don't mean to single you out... Agree with pretty much all that, a very good post. But, I don't see him as a key player. The bit in bold is something I also noticed and it's a really promising sign. We can go away to one of the best sides in Europe, manage a few decent attempts at goal ourself, whilst also limit the opposition's shots on target. In the end, they needed two penalties and a fuck up from one of our players to get their goals. Not saying they couldn't have stepped it up a gear if needed, but I feel it's still worth pointing out .

Can't see it me self. Really excited to see him though, just don't think it will be until the new year or until we get injuries. /suspensions Expect 1, 2, maybe even 3 changes Saturday, but I don't think Santon will start.

 Funnily enough there was a thread about a drop in attendances around the country, but they still get good crowds and it's keeping Bruce in a job There was also one about teams outside the top 7 being unhappy with their managers, but they don't have the money to spend etc. How much did the mackems spunk on utter shite this summer again?
-
Sounds like Santon is killing it going forward, seems to be mentioned in every attack. Also sounds like Elliot's made some good saves...... but let 4 goals in! Get Beardsley back as ressie manager!
-
Does sound like his shot stopping is class, but his positioning isn't the best. Wasn't that what Charlton fans complained about?
-
Aye, me and the official site. "GOAL 25 mins, 0-1 - Everton take the lead through Conor McAleny who lobs Rob Elliot from fully 30 yards #nufc #efc #reserves" Yeah, I aint on twitter, reading it off .co.uk. As I said, it could well be lying, but it did say Elliot didn't seem to be in a bad position, but the quality of shot beat him. Also made it sound like it was from out wide, so maybe it was just a sliced ping to the back post. TBH, trying to elaborate on a paragraph describing a goal is quite difficult thought I'd give it a go.
-
Well, the reporter from nufc.co.uk is not very likely say anything negative about any of the NUFC players though. I`d say every professional goalkeeper in the world would be disappointed when letting in a lob from 30 yards out. It should not happen Aye it shouldn't, but going off a paragraph on a website makes it a bit hard to be critical, there will be highlights on NUFCTV and I'll watch it on there before facepalming and whining. But Elliot has had a few poor games for us so he's shit and it's his fault, I've changed me mind, boooooooooo, Eliiot OUT. 2-0 by the way, the ball went across the face of goal, so I assume it was Elliot's fault as well.
-
Aye, only tell half the story taxfree, neither of us have seen it and the official site may well be lying but they said Elliot wasn't in a bad position and made it sound like a wonder goal. Agenda, much.

Christmas Tree's display pic is making me hate Shane Ferguson. I keep assuming CT looks like a 13 year old with special needs (posting history would confirm he most probably does) and I now don't like little Fergie. You bastad, what have you done

Pretty much my thoughts, this thread seems to be argumentative troll central, there everywhere

So the fabricated 'Mag at work' stories have evolved into 'Mag I had a fight with' What a load of BS, that thread is fucking tragic. It's like every story is trying to out do the other, proper playground shit, they're all toppers. "Oh yeah, that was like the time when I was on holiday in Iceland, but there was 30 of the mag kernts, I jumped on a nearby walrus and slapped them all owa." "Strange that they always give it the big un but never back it up and want to be friends." That place is so pathetic, yet hilarious at the same time, can't get enough of it

Seems the total opposite to me, we've gradually improved as a team and I can't remember a Newcastle side working this hard collectively. Again, I just can't agree with that. He seems a very positive man and calls it as it is. Admitted he got it wrong against QPR this season and Stoke and Everton last season. Always praises the players, very rare that he blames someone else, even against Blackburn in the cup, he stopped short of saying we lost because of the ref, like Warnock, AVB or Fergie would. Instead, he just alluded to some poor decisions and the 'breaks' which is a favourite of his, along with FUCKING SUPERB Might have jumped the gun, but I think he's won me over! Still room for improvement, but last season and this he's been far better than I originally expected.
-
I'm a massive Best fan, I think he offers us a presence, his hold up play is usually superb and he's a beast in the air, constantly rowing with those around me who slate him for the entire game. However, going 4-4-2 against Man U away is a bit optimistic and I think HBA is starting to show he's getting somewhere near to his best, I'd play him. I also feel with Best in the team, we revert to hoof ball tactics a lot of the time and against Vidic, I can't see it working. In time, I would like to see how we get on with HBA, Best and Ba all on the same pitch. Still baffled by Pards' comments about HBA not being able to play on the wing, really restricted himself now. I personally would love to see him get a go on the right.
-
Gone up to £2 now, bloody rip off.
-
Don't agree with that, not saying he used to fire in 2-3 quality long range efforts a game (nor do I want him too, he's a DM for fuck sake). But when he used to actually have a go, they usually seemed fairly accurate and powerful. Can't see where Christams Tree is coming from mind, not that I'm surprised though, I don't think I ever have

Those ketchup and mustard boots are truly rancid like, he needs to go back to the blue and green dazzlers, which are marginally better.
-
Sure I read they have 2 wins from 15 home games since the start of the year, truly hilarious that stat

If that is actually his twitter  it's like every poster on RTG rolled into one, best away support in the NE apparantly, aye righto.
