  1. Yup, this is the biggest issue we’ve got going on right now.
  2. $0 - anyone in China can leave their post with 30 days notice. I thought loki679[/member] had made that pretty clear? I may be way off. Unless your contract extends that notice for the duration.. Not possible under labour laws here afaik. Anyone can resign with 30 days notice, extended notice in a contract is unenforceable because the law has supremacy. As I said before, I assume the release is the same as players and that the fee is to transfer the registration rather than exit the contract. The law is clear:

Should be 'there' as well fwiw.
  4. Most 'fit and proper person' tests wouldn't have geo-political ramifications, absolutely no way in hell this doesn't get approved, it's fantasy land.
  5. It's not the SD board, it is the auditors "Furious shareholders are expected to oust the entire board of Sports Direct auditor RSM at the embattled firm’s annual meeting this morning as discontent within the firm pours out into public view. Five shareholders, who claim the backing of about two-thirds of investors, have tabled a motion to remove the current management, as first reported by The Telegraph." Unless I'm mistaken, Ashley owns the majority of shares in SD so nothing can pass without his approval.
  6. None of them will have the slightest clue who he is. Except maybe Mandy, if she was writing letters to Stifler, I suppose it's possible she might swap convivial texts with Wraith. Rich as fuck, mixing with royalty, into Barclays for a bajillion quid and you spend your day chatting with Stiffy and Wraith
  7. Yeah, I can see the logic in that but from a football / atmosphere standpoint you'd be mad not to try and get the hardcore back first.
  8. Nee worries mate, Saudia - the world renowned national airline of Saudi Arabia will sponsor our twitter page for 150 million. I think you're allowed about £100m in losses over the last three years so that gives us 100 to play with. Shirt sponsor, stadium naming rights, training ground sponsorship, advertising in the stadium could realistically add another 100 or so simply because Fat Mike never bothered with it. That's £200m to spend and still within FFP without even trying to increase our other revenue streams or playing some dodgy accounting games.
  9. Nar, it tells us that if you'd just chowed down on some bat soup back in 2009 we could have avoided the whole thing.

Get the fans to do it, marra. Give Ted and Ron a sledgehammer and a trowel and let them have at it.
  11. Monitoring low-ball Some way apart on valuation Insulting offer
  12. Aye, 3 threads: 'Takeover progress and future discussion' 'Positive optimistic thread for people who have forgotten we're Newcastle and we can't have nice things' 'Moral questions of Saudi government ownership of NUFC'
  13. They've seen PL football before though, it's quite popular over there. It's not like this is going to be something new for them.
  14. I tried that argument a few pages back and even I realise how stupid it is.
  15. Probably not bacon at least
  16. Totally, I can see why they would want in, not why the 80% stakeholders would want them in. Could save them having to negotiate for land rights and stuff and also gives the club an in-built expertise and organisation to handle infrastructure stuff.
  17. Also, they own loads of land and things in Newcastle so they stand to have a say in and benefit from any infrastructure improvements or large scale projects driven by the club.

    Who cares? Fuck them.

    Rafa Benítez

Imagine the reception he'll get on his first game back
  20. I'll be honest with you, neesy, i'm a little disappointed. They've been bombing the shit out of Yemen, chopping up journalists, crucifying and beheading folks and you come to us with a rich bint who's been in prison for a few months.
  21. Connecting through USA works, anywhere else seems to be offline
  22. I don't give a shite about human rights abuses within the context of a sport Thanks bud. Good to get the moral depravity out in the open. You have no idea of my moral depravity. Keep virtue signalling though, you pure sainted man, sure that'll stop the bombs. You won't support the propaganda vehicle of a murderous, theocratic, terrorism-sponsoring regime? What a lily-livered virtue-signaller you are! Got anything made in China in your house? Got a car? Eat chicken? You turn a blind eye to abuses all the time, every day. Get tae fuck with this holier than thou bullshit. It's a football club. Politics is sorted at the ballot box, not on the pitch. Well you would say that, you live in a country that doesn't allow ballot boxes. We do but only for export
