With the money sloshing around the PL and the inflated wages here it's become too easy to attract the decent players from europe to come here. Why would a PL side invest milliions in their academies when it's just as easy and has a much higher guarantee of success to throw a few million at the continent and grab a good young player who's already ready for first team duties.
