  1. Pretty relaxed despite the result last night. Four points off fourth and players hopefully returning in the next few weeks. Spurs will either be a masterclass or an utter car crash with their high line.
  2. Honestly struggling to be angry despite VAR last night. On the cusp of December, half a squad missing and still in all competitions. We're absolutely smashing it! We're within reach in the league and we can still guarantee some form of Europe. The sheer depths this team keeps going too will never not amaze me. We're over performing & consistently sticking two fingers up to every one who writes us off. We won't have a harder season than this (FFP), we will only improve and we'll be hated even more. Give me a team and manager that plays the way we do week in and week out... I'd die a happy man!
  3. Really pleased to see warmth from the crowd towards him. Imagine he'd have been incredibly anxious around the reception he'd get.
  4. This is it! Champions League at SJP playing the best of the best. Excitement doesn't even cover it today. Overriding emotion is pure pride! I've got absolutely no doubt they'll go out and leave everything on the pitch. Our time to showcase who we are. HWTL!
  5. Pleased for him today. Won the ball high up the pitch which led to the penalty (I think)?. Slowed the game down with Bruno really well at 2-0.
  6. 7 points and 1 win from our first 6 games last season. Sunday isn't a must win, but we should be getting 3 points regardless.

    Nick Pope

His pen save was fantastic by the way. Dips right ever so slightly then dives left. Sold Toney down the river.
  8. Craig Hope ‏@CraigHope_DM 1m1 minute ago Been told Bolo Zenden one of names in running for NUFC assistant role. Interesting.
  9. Not sure what it say exactly - http://www.11freunde.de/nachricht/england-130? Is this the other candidate?

http://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/does-anybody-hate-the-mags.948767/page-3 Post #50 I am ridiculous in my hatred for them. Fair enough when I was young and daft, I suppose I had an excuse then, but now, in my 50's, I hate the bastards more than ever. Used to work with one, the most obnoxious twat you could ever meet. If they won and we lost, I couldn't sleep on a Sunday night for thinking about the next day at work. Used to wake up at 3.am in a cold sweat, just seeing his face laughing at all things Sunderland. Nearly lost my job through him, not once, but twice. Luckily he was sacked before I had the chance to snap a 3rd time. Ha ha!
  12. http://www.le10sport.com/football/mercato/mercato-newcastle-le-clan-ben-arfa-ouvre-la-porte-a-un-retour-a-lol-159052 Sidelined by his club Newcastle criticizing his lack of professionalism, Hatem Ben Arfa could bounce the side of the OL. "If Hatem is ready to make financial efforts to integrate into the group, so why not. It was certainly the most technically gifted player I've ever had in 27 years in office. It was difficult to manage, but very talented. "On Monday, President of Olympique Lyonnais Jean-Michel Aulas has opened the door to a return of Hatem Ben Arfa. You may be interested: Mercato - OL: Aulas revealed its strategy in the case Gourcuff! "LYON IS NOT A DYING MAN CLUB" Contacted by footmercato, the player's agent 27 years Ouazine Michel gave an update on the situation. "This is an idea under discussion with Hatem on French clubs. Lyon had mentioned and super project. Because contrary to what they say, Lyon is not a moribund club and a project in the Arsenal line. In fact, Hatem told me that it was his first club, his club heart because it has a great relationship with Bernard Lacombe and has a huge respect for what the president has done for Aulas Lyon "has he said before continuing. "THERE IS SOMETHING POSITIVE TO DO" "Who would not want to return to his former club, it's a bit like the child who comes home. With the large stadium project, there is something positive to do. The group is young, and Hatem is a competitor, greatly. As President Aulas elsewhere. Hatem is still young, but he has a huge experience in big games. And technically, I think Hatem associating with a runner as Yoann Gourcuff is a positive idea, if not enchanting! It's interesting, but after there is the economic issue because he did not forget, it is up to Newcastle. "Under contract with the Magpies until 2015, Ben Arfa is still a Newcastle player. But the latter, who recently questioned his professionalism and commitment could facilitate his departure accepting a reasonable allowance transfer.

  14. There aren't any direct flights from Lyon to Newcastle I don' think.

  21. Who's reporting this? It would make a lot of sense.. Free agent and all that jazz.
  22. Couldn't tell you.. YouTubed him, some OK goals in there and top terrible goal keeping. Looks like a bit of a unit.
