Lee Cryder @lee_Cryder 1m Confirmed by French PFL hat Marseille will be "at fault" if Bafetimbi Gomis deal to #nufc collapses.
-
He actually said "very, very close to signing him" but "they'd be in a position to say yay or nay by Monday or Tuesday". "Very happy with how the deal's going atm" Did he mention the Gomis deal at all? Didn't catch the whole interview.

Doesn't he have a clause in the contract anyways? Loan is wise considering the rape allegations.
-
Tony Fernandes @tonyfernandes 3m I predict 4 more players will leave Qpr. 2 more will leave on Loan next week as we want to keep them for future. But more to go. Lets see. Remy?.. I hope.

There is a few on ViaGoGo which have been put up for £150. Disgusting really.

Joey Barton has just hit the nail on the head on Twitter. If that was himself making that tackle, he would have no testicles by now.

Wigan have gone down in my estimation here. How on earth can they defend that? If you see the video, he follows through with his other legs. Ends up being both legs off the ground. Hopefully the book is thrown at him...

Just booked 5 tickets. Apart from Leezes End Level 4, its very difficult to get tickets together. Hopefully get 40,000+ for this.

Who I think will go down - Villa, Wigan and QPR. I would love Villa, QPR and Sunderland to go down. Villa - The way they behaved when they sent us down. Wigan - 3/4 of the season they're terrible yet they always manage to stay up after a silly run towards the end. I also think injuries this time around has done them in. Struggled to improve in the window also. QPR - The money they throw about. I absolute despise clubs with loads of money and throwing it to the cause. Its plastic, rubbish, and Redknapp looks like an old saggy testicle

Just had a quick browse on a Chelsea forum (TheShedEnd) - Dear me they are an awful bunch of fans. Basically saying the only reason they lost was because of Howard Webb. Nothing to do with there team being unable to defend under pressure and their complete and utter lack of a leader in the middle of the park. Astounding stuff. Agree it was probably a pen to Chelsea yesterday regarding the Ba incident. However, never in a million years is that a red card. Ba didn't see the boot coming and he had already taken the header. Accidental. If your CB doesn't go in for that challenge they would get absolutely crucified for failing to do so. Accidental boot to the face, but a penalty at best. Regarding us however.. I thought we where superb yesterday. The drive from every single player was a joy to behold. Most please aspect for myself was probably our reaction to going 2-1 down. Many times this season we've seen our team hide once going behind. Superb attitude to claw our way back into the game. Defense was brilliant, total team effort. Midfield looked composed and in control throughout. Cabaye is the heartbeat of this side and surely must be captain when/if Colo leaves in the summer. Cisse is an absolute monster. Not sure what to describe him as. Having a midfield which moves, is such a bonus. This can only be beneficial to HBA when he returns. For a long while our midfield/forwards have been to static in the final third. Having Gouffran and Sissoko bombing on will give the opposition much more to worry about, allowing HBA a bit more space to operate. Must also comment on the balance of our side too. Yesterday was the 1st time in a while I've watched us and thought we have a system in place and it worked. Superb. Onwards and upwards.

The interview on the official site is brilliant. When Scanlon asks about the fans his face lights up. Huge smile Really do get the impression he loves it up here.

Being positive. Before the game it was all about winning and not the performance. We won. Debutants looked solid. We move on and upwards. Personally I believe that is a harder game than Chelsea on Saturday. This game had so much pressure on it, 10 days waiting and we came through with 3 points. IMO it would have been a lot more comfortable if they didn't get that penalty so early in the second half. The confidence the players should gain from not only winning, but holding on for the three points will be significant IMO. Too many games this season we have dropped our arse when in a lead, and left with 1 point, or 0. Sissoko and Gouffy did well. Thought they looked a little bit tired, hence the subs. Pardew - Meh. Onwards and upwards.
-
Villa forums seem to think we're going to tear them a new arsehole. This itself is making me more nervous we'll totally mess this up

Marveux picked up an injury in the warmup apparently

Arse is twitching now :/

RMC and BeIN sport are say we have agreed a fee :-)

If this is true I'd strip him of the captaincy and hand it to Cabaye. We've had a few days of positive news. New LB and possibly Sissoko coming in. Attempt to keep the positive vibe going. We need everyone pulling in the same direction. His father always maintained he wanted to leave on good terms with the fans. Well, he has certainly gone the wrong way about it. We've been poor recently, and he's been up there with players really under-performing. Lost all respect for the man. Could have led us to safety. Took the cowards way out. Albeit if this is true.. If not... Wooops.
