  1. Me neither, part of the smokescreen to deflect attention. Would not be surprised if ths was always the intention at some point. Employ incompetent buffoons who are easy to get rid of when things get tough. Nothing changes for me, it's neither good nor bad news, it's just news. If you're terminally ill getting a haircut means fuck all.
  2. I agree, but what sane manager would take over the job? No sane one, that's why it would be the irish story teller
  3. We're making the mistake of thinking Ashley wants a football club. He doesn't he wants a platform to advertise his shitty companies worldwide and given the coverage of the PL he gets that. Mid table is perfect for that, small squad with fewer games, no ambition to raise expectations. We either have to accept that this is going to be the way under Ashley or get out because he's going nowhere. He has the club exactly where he wants it and it serves his purpose well.

Most pointless appeal ever. push someone, aggressively go head to head and think that the FA will overturn the referees decision. As likely as a signing in my opinion

    Clément Grenier

Yeahn I think it's fair to say that seems unlikely. As unlikely as the queen getting pregnant on national television

Jesus we all know the script by now. Bid lodged Bid rejected Excuse lodged Excuse rejected
  7. Lets hope we give the lad a break, he's been to Holland back
  8. Latest from France QUOTES Ligue 1 @ Futbol_Galo 1m Clement Grenier @ beinsports_FR: 'je n'aime pas alan Pardew, il est une tête de merde' Roughly translates as Ligue 1 @ Futbol_Galo 1m Clement Grenier @ beinsports_FR: 'I don't like Alan Pardew, he is a s*** head'
  9. That's what happens, the turf may be wet which reducess the friction on the ball and it moves quicker than if the turf was dry but it does not increase speed. Jesus, I am boring myself!! Sorry everyone!!
  10. A spin bowler with rpm of 1500 can get a small change of pace, there is no way a football is anywhere near 1/100 th of that. In short no, I doubt it
  11. What I find strange is when experienced pundits who you would assume have a basic grasp of the laws of nature say 'It picked up speed off the surface'. Sorry, it didn't as that would be impossible as grass is inert and therefore unlikely to exert extra force on the ball. Perhaps I'm a pedant, but only if you spell it correctly
  12. Newcastle defend magnificantly for over half the match and put in a great shift against 11 men and easily deserved a point. Turdface Owen is asked who was his MoM. 'Well I've got to give it to Stevie Gerrard' Never was a phrase meant so literally

    Alan Pardew

Ah but you're forgetting the five back to back premiership titles , the 4 European cups and the 7 FA cups that we won under Kinnear.
  14. I also think that chance was a lot harder than it looked. We have seen so many times where the ball is smacked over the bar. He caught it perfectly and it was a great finish. Compare it to the Eto'o 'tap in' where fair enough Barry got a foot across but he shouldn't have had a chance of reaching that.
  15. Tiote is like a Korean built replica Scott Parker. He does all the pirouettes and spins but you get the nagging feeling that something is going to go wrong any minute
  16. Must admit i was expecting some form of Gallic grovelling long before now. The entire nation surrendered to Germany in 6 weeks and we dont even get an apology for his treachery. Its coming to something when we can't even subjugate the French
  17. We're rarely linked with anyone innocent. He will at least have a conviction for sexual assault

    Alan Pardew

Pardew was training the spider to walk up his arm, after an hour the spider was entirely unable to move and was barely recognisable as a spider

The 'Invest in Africa' sponsorship should be fun. Mussolini tried it 70 years ago, I bet the Ethiopian arm of the charity is delighted!!!
