why’s Wilson just stood offside all the time in that move? come on lad
-
huge gaps in behind our midfield here
-
he ran the Bromley game but I guess that doesn't count.
-
Basically Lewis Hall is gonna have to be mint
-
I think a back 5 approach is arguably the best way to go really. You get the left wing back on Salah with the left-sided centre back to back him up when he inevitably gets past him, and you also get less defensive responsibility on Gordon, who you just want to be running at Trent at every opportunity with Hall backing him up.
-
think this is the game where Van Dijk starts to consider his retirement from the game. 0-3 Isak hatty.
-
I previously agreed about wanting a playmaker type (a Kulusevski profile) there but I think given how effective Murphy has been, we have to look for a similar profile of player and trust the coaches to improve them. If we could get a Murphy-type who is better at retaining possession in build up then that would be ideal.

I think he’s better in the games where Hall is able to get forward and provide the width for Gordon to make runs inside more often. Movement is the best part of his game, so it’s a bit limiting when he ends up having to hang out on the touchline.
-
think given his limited minutes for us there’s enough evidence in this video that only Bruno is on his level for those kind of passes in the squad!
-
I think he does have the vision of Bruno tbh, think that’s his strongest asset. His ball striking looks really good too. Not got great defensive awareness and isn’t as aggressive in tackles as I’d want him to be to play deeper. Imo he’ll end up best as the most advanced midfielder of a 3, which is where he’s played most for the youth teams afaik.
-
I think it’s negligible between the two of them these days tbh, which is a sad indictment of Pope. We will upgrade in the summer and it will make a big difference imo.
-
yeah, honestly when you are under pressure and don’t have confidence that you can pass the ball back to your keeper it’s not helpful. Also think Pope puts the crowd on edge which really doesn’t help. Hope Trafford is good

his lack of leadership is really visible in games like that. Struggled to get involved in possession, and poor in duels as well. 28/38 passes completed, winning 3/10 duels is just really poor. He’s capable of so much more so it’s extra frustrating watching him just falling over and looking at the ref.
-
he’s been poor most of the season but also clearly has bags of potential. Needs some genuine competition I think. I’d be considering starting Krafth at the moment though.
-
he’s really good, just have to figure out how to get him more involved in our play really.
-
don’t really think he bears any responsibility for the second half to be honest. There is a lack of leadership on the field and the players were so complacent. Whole half was just passing the ball to Forest and jogging around
-
was weird, he’s obviously desperate to get a goal and backs himself in those situations because he’s so confident but… play for the team and go to the corner ffs. Brainless stuff.
-
good win but fuck me that was shocking
-
-
they’ve cottoned onto the fact that he looks for cheap free kicks 9/10 times he gets the ball, and now they’ve stopped giving them which is fair enough imo.
-
bit fed up of Bruno really. Spent most of the season looking for fouls rather than trying to play football, it’s utterly bizarre.
-
just letting Forest do what they want this half. Absolutely pathetic stuff. Can’t believe we haven’t tried anything to get the momentum back.
-
Bruno has struggled to get involved and been poor when he has really. Would be looking to get someone on who wants to show for the ball.
-
not a foul
