PSG aren’t very good

he’s nowhere near as proactive as Burn has been in the last 6 months or so. It’s one of the main reasons why the gap between defence and midfield isn’t being as easily exploited now. Burn is winning almost twice as many aerial challenges as Botman (last season) per 90, and competing in around 50% more ground duels too. There’s been a notable difference.

I hope he’s been watching how aggressively Burn plays, and how proactive he is with his defending high up the pitch. It’s fundamental to how we want to play and Botman needs to add it to his game.
