From what I've seen of him for NUFC he looks like he should be a #10 rather than a CM. He has the work rate, but he's probably not safe enough with the ball to play deeper yet.

The midfield completely ran out of legs in the second half after such an intense first 45 and we had nobody to bring on there other than Anderson. It’s not a smart move to go into the last 19 games like this.

I guess we will see whether he’s improved in the holding role the next few games.
